I spent another 30 minutes tonight trying to Google up something “definitive” on Sheriff’s vs Feds to no avail. There are so many pro and con arguments as to render anything I said one way or another as just another cricket screeching in the darkness.
The arguments seem to come to ground though on whether or not the 10th amendment prevails or not! Some say YES, Some say NO. I’ve yet to see anything DEFINITIVE one way or the other. If you have that, I would appreciate hearing from you re the link.
