Kayla Mueller’s family has released the full text of one her final letters while held hostage by Islamic State terrorists. Her family confirmed her death today, in a statement to reporters. "We are heartbroken to share that we’ve received confirmation that Kayla Jean Mueller, has lost her life,” they said.

Not everyone is called to marriage and family life. Look at Christian missionaries who go to the far corners of the world to bring the Gospel of Jesus to.

She does sound like a bleeding heart. But she was trying to help Syrian refugees, many of whom are Christians. The fact that she was not released while others were could be due to her Christian faith, but I really don’t know.

Honest go god, my wife had a relative in Syria, working.

A few weeks after shots first started she called.

My clear advice, evacuate now, while you can. She listened.

A wasted life, terrible that people lead her astray with this NGO, volunteer, “do something” crap. Look at the life lost. No kids. No grandkids for her parents or for her. She should have had another 80 years to make America a better place.

I think I will allow God to judge what is and isn't a wasted life.

I don’t know, either.

But she was writing to people who would know, and to mention it might have meant instant death, given the situation. You know they would have read her letter.

..perhaps revealing a new age outlook rather than Christian. Her utopianistic idealistic ..Peace Corp..we are the world we are the children mentality helped get her murdered. Assigning Christian martyrdom to her may be a reach-——but I really hope I’m wrong...

Yeah, that Mother Teresa. She could have stayed in Albania, had a bunch of kids, and not wasted her life with all those dirty Indians. I mean, they’re just a bunch of savages.

I take it you aren’t a subscriber to the Christian religion.

Very interesting. The young woman loses her life trying to help other people... and you’re desperately looking for a way to judge her. “I’ll bet she was a bleeding heart liberal!! (with zero evidence to support it). “She just wanted to be a community organizer!!”

True. But one time I watched as a minister was told by the deacons that God was telling them it was time for them to find a new minister. The minister was adamant that God was telling him to stay put.

I saw it myself. This supposed call to go live amongst the savages got a girl killed. That call in my opinion is a lifetime of teachers and professors and all the surroundings of the university luring girls her age into the third world in lieu of having a normal life and being a productive citizen.
Im sorry, but it was a waste of a human life.

you know, I got to thinking.....I wonder if she’s a muslim and this is why odumbo is tripping over himself in the media talking about it. I just can’t imagine him EVER saying anything nice about a Christian.

Mark 16:15 — And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

I think in this “supposed” call, Jesus meant the savages too. Jesus didn’t call for you to to sit on your can and condemn others who were putting their lives at risk.

All 12 disciples got killed preaching to savages. Were their lives wasted? What kind of church do you go to anyway??
