So from all of you old hands, what is the best ambient temp to race in? What are the tire temp factors and track factors that come into play? I thought a hot day would be better for the tires to stick?

Good race day NASCAR fans and another season gets underway with D500!
Mrs p6 will keep me updated as I’m patching a small rust hole on the Durango rt front fender for PA inspection. FWIW the mechanic said DUCT TAPE IS NOW “legal” in PA!
I’m using Bondo hair, the fender gets replaced in warm weather anyway.
Hey, since when did Bondo Hair resin wash off hands with just warm soap and water?
