I have $27 in my wallet as we speak but don't tell Obama.
Helthcare insurance is not healthcare.
Many companies were able to afford healthcare insurance for employees before Obama The Arrogant Idiot doubled and tripled the cost with his "Affordable Care Act".
I see nothing! : )
People need to get over being called a “rasis” by retards on the left every time they badmouth the left’s prima donna president.
The P in POS has just changed from Piece to Pile.
The complacency of the people stuns me.
As long as they have an Iphone, pizza pie delivery, and football, all is well in the garden.
Whuh?
Why not pick on Apple or Microsoft?
Them dawgs gotz lawds of mawnee socketet aweighs...
Funny to hear Obama take off after the highly paid CEO at Staples and other places - since being the CEO of a business is sort of like, well, being the president of a country - maybe Obama should give up the trappings of the White House, his multimillion dollar vacations at taxpayer expense, his elaborate security protection, and all the other benefits of his office before he starts throwing stones at those corporation CEO’s.....
Love his big heart... Can’t Rush every get to the point? I know he is influential and all that ... But Damn ... I read the whole thing and still cannot figure out the exact statement that the CEO of Staples made via his PR Guy.. Good Grief!
“Sorry I can see why railing against Obama is very entertaining, but the fact remains the employees at Staples need healthcare.”
Here’s where you and many others have been brainwashed. If you’re healthy, you don’t need “healthcare,” whatever that is.
Yes, some people need to go to the doctor. Some need to go to the doctor a lot. And some people occasionally need to go to the doctor. YOU may need “healthcare.” But the majority of the people of this country are perfectly fine without seeing a doctor every year, even every decade.
We’ve been brainwashed to believe that if we’re not seeing our doctor regularly, we’re not healthy.
This is the big LIE. And we’re bombarded every day with this big LIE. Start watching commercials on TV. Every other commercial is selling some form of health-related product. They are selling fear. Heck, you can’t even buy a box of cereal without being told the health benefits.
The majority of the people in this country are perfectly healthy and there is no need for them to visit the doctor. EVER.
Why don't you pay for it then? Why don't you hire these people and give them healthcare?
Bring back American jobs!
Look people need health insurance.
Right now, the pool of people who get it, is ever shrinking. Ever more people, in America, are out of work. Ever more.
We have two choices. Either we bring back American jobs (from China and elsewhere), or else we figure some way to bring healthcare to people who need it.
I actually want the first, more. I want Americans to have JOBS, and insurance.
That is what I want.
I do not see my fellow Americans, from either party, standing with me on this however.
Both parties in my opinion, are selling out their very own nation. Both parties.
I say enough. America needs to support America.
Nobody is preventing the from going to the doctor.

So perhaps those employees should learn something that
Is marketable. You know like a skill other than that of
A teenage starter job?
No one forced them to only apply at staples or refuse
To aquire some knowledge to do something else.
That mindset is so 2th century whining. I worked plenty of
Those kind of jobs while learning a trade.
I have insurance. It costs my family more than we can really afford, yet it is almost worthless, because it covers essentially nothing, except catastrophic injury or illness. In terms of health care, my family would be better off if I stopped working. If it was just me, I’d ditch the insurance, pay the fine, and take my chances.
If I, an independent middle class person can’t find affordable health care, even with the insurance end of it partially supported by an ObamaCare subsidy, how the heck is Staples, which runs on very thin margins, supposed to be able to pay for care for its employees?
At least Rush, who not so long ago argued there really wasn’t anything wrong with the healthcare system in the US, now seems to comprehend the root of the problem, perhaps because Obama made it worse!
The gov’t is driving up the cost of having employees so high that even if the US was to enjoy a sort of industrial renaissance, much of the work will be automated or done by robots.
That doesn't make me a "health nut" -- I'm eating a couple chocolate chip cookies as I type this. But for the most part I appreciate having nutritional information on cereal, and other foods too, so I can balance my choices. Hopefully wisely...
Where I really disagree though, is when you say "The majority of the people in this country are perfectly healthy and there is no need for them to visit the doctor. EVER.
Now, I will admit I am bad about "regular checkups" myself. I have been fortunate to be generally healthy. But, that said, I have multiple friends and relatives who seemed to be very healthy, too, but by going to their doctor when symptom free, cancers or other deadly problems were caught while treatable. Conversely, a good friend of my wife's did not go in for checkups, and only after she began to have symptoms did she go to a doctor -- to be diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. She is "walking dead", most likely, and the family's finances are devastated.
