It's obvious that Dean is judging "education" by the number of years someone attended school. Most judge "education" by how much someone has learned. Some of the least educated people I know have been awarded PhDs. Some of the best educated people I know left school after 8th grade. Obtaining higher education degrees may increase the probability someone is "educated" but it in no way guarantees it.

There is also a significant difference between "smart" and "educated". This is particularly true when someone like Dean conflates "educated" as meaning "smart". In the people I have worked with, there has been little correlation between those who were "educated", and those who were "smart". I could give several instances of completely inverse correlation.

Walker wins three election, dean won only Vermont, came in third and forth in most of the others.

Success is not solely dependent on education, however, performance, work ethic, and common sense also play a crucial role.

Many college type are never able to completely shed the fraternity attitude. It’s like their diploma is a ticket to a lifelong social club. Dean seems to be that type.

Once in that elitist frame of mind, acceptance by fellow elites seems to be their main goal in life, and they follow them without question.

It must really grate on Dean’s mind that a “non-educated” republican is doing so well in the polls.

Besides, Walker didn’t quit until the spring of his senior year...what does that leave out? The graduation ceremony? Or did I miss something?

a college degree is not nothing.

it is, if it's in gender, race or queer studies.

College “professors” are supposed to be educated and look at the crap they’re pumping out. These days, a college diploma don’t mean jack sh*t.

"he attended college for three years, which is enough time to get whatever is useful out of it."

As someone who did graduate from college, I couldn't agree with you more. The final year of classes, for me, at least, were all focused on specific course work to use in my specialty. There is no university course specializing in "being president". I believe that had Walker completed his degree, he would have taken nothing in his final year that would make him a better president than any other, or by missing it, would make him a worse president than all of the classes Dean took in getting his medical degree.

“These so called most educated people are really nothing but educated idiots”

Just think of how successful Bill Gates might have been had he finished college.

In Howard Dean’s case, MD probably stands for “Mostly Demented”, anyway.

Well, that is slightly disappointing that he didn’t stay in a little longer to earn the degree, but with the majority of what the degree program had to offer, well, not too much was missed more besides writing some big essays and getting some practice with professional researchers is the most likely part that Walker missed out on. But to be a researcher, you don’t need to earn the full degree, you will most likely know what you need to in terms of looking up neccessary information and writing out a paper with a thesis by your second or third year.

I wonder how educated Nancy Pelosi is, if anything she sounds like she got a Doctorate in rudeness.

I’m amazed that NONE of the so-called professors from Obama’s reputed years in various colleges has ever come forward and mentioned him.

Even alumni from said colleges have stated that they never saw him or heard of him.

Obama has a manufactured background. That’s why there is no valid birth document (other than the one locked up in Kenya), a false Connecticut SS# that belonged to another person, a lock on his passport history and a lock on his college transcripts.

a lock on his passport history

Let's not forget that John Brennan ran the company that breached candidate passport files during the 08 election. The media was peeing on themselves with excitement that Clinton or McCain was behind it but when Obama named Brennan an advisor they dropped it like a hot rock.

I don’t care about the degree. I would care more about a person’s capacity to work, learn, and adapt. That is what intelligence is really about: Adaptation

Hey, Mr. Dean, what about Bill Gates and Steve Jobs?..Do you look down on them? And, as a matter of fact, a liberal arts college degree these days only guarantees a leftist brain washing which the world would be better off without. You need college for medicine, engineering and a few other specialized skills, but the political world would be better off with common sense folks, who, incidentally, have never seen the inside of a law school. Journalism, specifically, in many cases, would be better off without the left leaning college degree.

Just looked it up....Presidents without college degrees:

Andrew Jackson, Martin Van Buren, Zachary Taylor, Millard Fillmore, Abe Lincoln, Andrew Johnson, Grover Cleveland, Harry Truman. Others without college degrees include Bill Gates, Thomas Edison, Matt Damon (wrote Good Will Hunting as an undergrad)

I hope Walker runs with this. The dems criticizing the percentage of US citizens that don't have college degrees? The Dems the Party of the Elite? Criticizing Abraham Lincoln? And that from the stable genius Howard Dean? Excellent.

Howard Dean grew up rich and priviledged and went to Yale and Columbia. If Dean was waterboarded and the truth of what he really believes came out. He would probably tell you that if you did not graduate from an elite Ivy League school you are not qualified to be President.

The left hates it when someone fails to attend their liberal indoctrination camps disguised as Universities.
