. The Democrats still drag up Reagan’s loss of 241 Marines as they slept in their barracks in Beirut, Lebanon in 1983,

One of two of Reagan's decisions I really disagreed with.
Pulling the Marines out of Beirut after that. Seemed to be turning tail and running to me.
The other...Not cancelling Toshiba's import license when it was revealed they had supplied the USSR with computer driven milling machines and software that allowed the Soviets to manufacture submarine props that didn't cavitate.
IOW quiet props. Reduced our being able to 'hear' their subs by a huge factor.
He should have lifted Toshiba's license.

I've never bought another Toshiba electronic device since.

Agreed. The nightmare scenario is for the troops trapped there with Barky running the show. I doubt these guys want to go the burned alive route.

Or the Benghazi outcome!

It’s coming folks!

Roasting U.S. soldiers in cages will be the single fault of Obama and his love for the Islomic (terrorists), I mean “freedom fighters”.

This muslim in chief is just loving this simply because when he is out of office he will become king of the sand over there.

At least Bush I had the brains to figure out that a ruthless dictator like Saddam Hussein was preferable to the utter chaos that would unfold over there with "democracy" under Islamic tribalism.

I fear you are right. If there is one thing the "Arab Spring" has taught us, it is that the Muslim world is totally unsuited for liberty and democracy. They seem to crave the lash on their own backs. From a realist point of view in the West, the best that can be hoped for is to help King Abdullah of Jordan conquer the whole place, or failing that, to raise up some new Mubaraks and Saddams and Qaddafis.
