Just start over. Stop all disability payments and give it to those who REALLY are disabled. No more COPD, back problems and that crap. Give it to people with general real live disabilities and that means people with extremely low IQs and quadriplegics. Absolutely none for asthma and the new hip Autistic baloney. If we do that then we are good to go for quite a while. Food stamps only are used for fruits, vegetables, and fish and chicken, milk, bread and eggs. That is it. I really should run for President. I would fix this country in about five minutes.

For those that may not be aware, this is how this problem ACTUALLY began.

The ‘bent one’ and the hildabeast take great pride in mentioning how the bent one “ended” welfare during his term. What he actually did was spread it out over eighty (80) different Federal agencies and call it different names. When you put them all back together, welfare is of course larger than either social security and the military combined, or medicaid and the military combined. And comes pretty close to the total of all three. But not even the Republicans seem to want to talk about that.

In the various programs that were raped as part of this charade, none took it in the shorts as bad as the Social Security disability fund. Change the disability rules BACK to what they were in 1991 and the problem will virtually disappear.

But don't hold your breath for that to happen.

Obama’s deliberately signed up zillions of new receipients on SS Disability...who are, mostly anyway, not genuinely disabled by any reasonable use of that term.

Restore honesty to the program and its finances will suddenly improve substantially.

If you remember, Obama admin was putting people on disability who couldn’t get unemployment 5 years ago. Many of these people had mickey mouse reasons, but were getting disability even though they are not disabled.

The best way to fix this is for all states to to an anyalisis of people getting disability. Call them in for a retest. Start wih those under 45. I bet you could find a slew of fakers. Same with food stamps. Some got them a long time ago when they may have had a real problem, but that problem disappeared years ago and they are still getting free food.

I agree. Something like a start over and states do it would be a great way to do it. I also think that they need to walk to the Disability Office every month to pick up their checks............Extremely few exceptions. That would keep the counselors aware of who REALLY can’t work.

True....Did you read my reply about requiring anyone on disability to have to go into the office to pick up a check. That would help some of them from getting it.
