There is no peace in the Mideast — or Midtown.
A Jewish kosher-food purveyor says he’s being prevented from settling in the heart of Manhattan by the “halal mafia.”
Yisroel Mordowitz insists he just wants to peacefully peddle sandwiches piled high with brisket or pastrami from his Holy Rollers cart in the lucrative Rockefeller Center area, 48th Street off Sixth Avenue.
But a group of irate Egyptian competitors block the kosher vendor from setting up on the sidewalk, literally squatting on the curb or placing umbrellas and beverage cartons to cordon off the space.

I saw lots of halal vendors in NYC. We found a non-halal cart and got a great hotdog!
If I’d seen a nice Kosher vendor selling sandwiches piled high with brisket I would have had no problem buying from him!
It thought it was interesting that there were NO moslems around the World Trade Center memorial.
What he should do is pay for some nice big scary guys to squat or swat for him till he is able to set up.
All halal foods should be clearly marked with a warning that the food has been sacrificed to the god of Islam.
Sharia in midtown. Great. DeBlasio must be pleased. And poor Ed Koch is rolling in his grave.

There are enough Jews in NYC to volunteer to help this guy out.
Nothing to see here... just a random targeting of a food vendor... no reason to suspect anti-Semitism just because it was the only non-Halal cart targeted... anyone who suggests Jew-hatred is being an extremist racist bigot Islamophobe... we should all be worried that stories like this might cause an anti-Muslim backlash!
And let’s not forget that the future of Times Square does not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam!

I am not not defending the camel humpers, but, I can absolutely assure you that there are street corners in NYC where the Kosher Mafia drives out the Muzzies, Albanians, Koreans, and everyone else.
