Well, it’s a small victory anyway. It’s just a TRO.

The trap, and you’ve fallen into it, is that we’ve been manipulated into believing that these things are victories. The only “wins” we get are when the leftist agenda is paused. With every issue, the results are only one of two things:
1. The left wins and their agenda is moved forward
2. The left “loses” and their agenda is put on hold
When was the last time one of our “victories” move things in the conservative direction? All we do is temporarily stop them. We haven’t really “won” an issue in a long, long time.
Have we won on abortion? Gun control? Smaller government? Voter ID? Health care? Taxes? Affirmative action? Private property? States rights? Queer marriage? Welfare? Immigration? ...
Your seeing something similar to the Overton Window, where we lose so much, that we accept these things as “wins.” It’s kind of like celebrating that you made it home from work today without getting into an accident.
At any rate, that’s no reason to give up and stop fighting. On that, I agree completely with you.
It is a major victory. All battles won are ‘temporary’ victories. It is a major battle won but the war is not over by any means. But without this victory Obama and his democrats would be starting tomorrow to implement Executive Amnesty for millions upon millions of illegals who would be voters.
A recent report of a loophole to Congress revealed that once illegals are shielded from deportation and given hologram ID cards, they can return to Mexico or Latin America on pretext of family illness and then return legally. Once they return ‘legally’, they are no longer illegal and therefore they can apply for citizenship. That leads to a new voter constituency, one that offsets the 6 million + blue collar conservative demographic that by staying home sunk Romney. This is the endgame.
