We barely have any planes, ships or army left. We are defenceless to all intents and purposes against the size of the Russian forces..our useless fools who run us, have ruined what little was left of our armed forces....while pissing away billions in foreign aid....as a Brit I bow my head in shame !!!!!
The Tu-95/142 Bear is actually a direct evolutionary descendent of the B-29 Superfortress. Three Superforts that diverted to Russia following bombing missions over Japan were interred and reverse-engineered to produce the Tu-4 Bull. Which was the evolutionary starting point for the Bear.
70 years ago, WW2 really ended the British Empire.
I fear the same fate awaits us in the next global conflict.
