AG Ken Paxton said this:
This morning, a rogue state District Judge in Austin instructed the Travis County Clerk to certify a marriage license for a same sex couple. That license is invalid, just as any license issued in violation of state law would be.
I took immediate action, asking the Texas Supreme Court to stay this proceeding. This afternoon, the Texas Supreme Court granted my request to stay two court rulings that declared Texas marriage law unconstitutional. As Attorney General, I will continue to defend the will of the people of Texas, who have defined marriage as between one man and one woman, against any judicial activism or overreach.

This is part of the Turn Texas Blue at all costs campaign being conducted by the left. Austin, of course, is the continuing hotbed for this crap.

40% of Hispanics voted for real (and anti-amnesty) conservatives like Paxton and Abbott, I don’t think we are gonna turn blue soon!

Was it Andrew Jackson who dared the judges to enforce their rulings?
Legit question. What are they gonna do if a governor and AG do that?
Don’t we have the right to ignore unconstitutional rulings by judges who try to make their own law?
