From those snowbirds who vote in their own state and then use their vacation house here, from those who vote more than once, from those who are students here and vote back home and of course illegals.
Then is it any wonder why my state has gone left in the last two elections.

“If Rick Scott doesn’t appeal a lower court ruling that says illegal aliens can’t be removed from the voter rolls before an election, it means illegal aliens and non-citizens will continue to vote in Florida elections.”

This only affects removal in the 90 days before an election. Rolls can be purged before the 90 day window.

0bama, Holder and Dems keep harping that voter fraud is non existent but when it’s proven to exist they close their eyes to it like nothing has happened.

This is a problem in many other states besides Florida, it’s way past time to prosecute cases of voter fraud.

In my view it should still be appealed, illegally registered voters should be removed up to and including election day.

Agree, enough is enough and these illegals with those voting more than once in vacation states should be charged.

I’m sick of my vote being cancelled out by someone who does not have a legal right to be here.

Republicans can’t even get any guts to take this on either which is a joke.

Having just read this; I am disgusted, I know from experience writing to Scott will make no difference; but I will do it anyway, in the past I never even got a response even though the letter was civil.

This time I will not be so civil because “at this point what difference does it make”

I feel like such a loser; I’ve been duped twice over; I voted for both Scott and Rubio, I could say I was betrayed and both are just traitors; but again “what difference does it make”

Actually they still can. The case was a charge against Scott for 2012 actions. Basically a shot across the bow charge. In 2012 they actually removed 85 people from the rolls.

An appeal would not actually affect the legality of any future actions.

How were you duped by Scott? He tried to purge the rolls and was found guilty by a federal court.

I would really have to question why Gov. Scott is not appealing this when Hans von Spakovsky and J. Christian Adams who are experts in this field as well as John Fund and some of Scott’s own people in his administration are calling Scott out on this.

Did you actually read John Fund’s article that’s linked in this piece? Scott wasn’t found guilty, Holder’s suit was thrown out and two appeals court judges overruled that.

He was found guilty in a federal court. What would be accomplished in federal court but to overturn the conviction for a 2012 event. It would have no effect on future events.

excerpt from Fund’s article.

“After the two judges ruled, even the Holder Justice Department gave up and withdrew from the case. But its liberal allies persisted and hit the jackpot with a rogue ruling last November from two Obama-appointed judges on the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.”

Did you read the article?

"He has decided that Florida will not appeal a ruling that limited the state’s ability to remove illegal aliens and non-citizens from Florida’s voter roll"

An issue of such importance and he gives up the fight, some call it surrender; others a mistake; I call it treason!

I read it and that is NOT what was said in the article.

I agree it does sound like treason. I do not see it as surrender or a mistake. Like you said, it is an important issue - and he doesn’t feel like taking action? He is using this as an excuse to facilitate his private agenda of supporting voter fraud.

Or...Scott has his eye on higher office and he doesn’t want to appear to be a meanie to the invaders of our nation.
