I think all the race hustlers are right...Hollyweird needs more diversity. Specifically in the area of commercials where I see blacks vastly overrepresented. I rarely see Hispanic-looking or Asian actors in those ads.

I think the ad industry should decrease the amount of blacks in commercials by about eighty percent to reflect their actual numbers in the population and replace them with Hispanics and Asians. Just to be fair of course. (smirk)

My point as well. Where are the Hispanic-looking actors in most commercials? I see blacks in virtually every national ad. Blacks are vastly overrepresented in commercials. To be fair, diminish the amount of blacks, and put in more Hispanics and Asians.

America has finally caught up with National Lampoon of 1982. What follows is a clip from “Jane Fonda Speaks Out” in which she says everybody should get an Oscar. Not heard in the excerpt is where she says it isn’t fair that people with no theatrical training can’t do movies. She says that without script writers, she herself couldn’t even answer the phone.

Hand out an “Affirmative-Action Oscar” every year to a random black in the industry. Even if their film wasn’t that good, didn’t generate box office or critical acclaim, just hand an Oscar to a black person once a year no matter what. Don’t hold them to the same standards as others. We don’t do that in any sector of society anymore anyway. We even hand out Presidencies based on skin color before accomplishment. Get with the times, Hollywood.
