Less than 1 percent of the American public has served in the country's recent wars. But if that's a problem, what's the solution?

Actually, I believe the quote is:

"America is not at war. The Marine Corps is at war; America is at the mall."

Essentially, saying that our troops in Iraq/Afghanistan were not at the forefront of National thinking or concern except in a few circles. Folks were just going about their daily business and hand wringing over the methods used to fight the subhuman savages.

I commen anyone who signs up to wear the uniform of the United states. But with zero as CIC I question why anyone would volunteer to serve under this regime. He has nothing but contempt for our sailors, Marines, soldiers, and airmen. His own DHS has declared all veterans are potential terrorists. His VA is a disgrace. The military is a leftist plaything forcing all gay all the time ideology and soon will force the military to accept and promote LGBQTWTF sickos where they will just sign up to have their transgender surgery picked up by the tax payer. How many officers have been affirmatively promoted? If it wasn’t for the brotherhood of soldiers supporting eachother I can’t imagine how bad it would be. I joined the Coast Guard when Clinton was president and it was still under the DOT. Unfortunately I washed out due to medical reasons (previously unknown heart valve problem). I would never had joined if Obama was president.

Yep. One of the biggest mistakes the Bush Administration made. I was so mad when I heard that. They were so blatantly patronizing us it was sickening. The message should have been more like the WW2 message. Instead, they helped facilitate the left by creating a distance between the military and the public in general.

Mohammedans declared war on the U.S., with an attack on U.S. soil, with the Ryder Truck bomb of 1336 pounds of high explosives, detonated on Feb. 26, 1993, in the parking garage under the North tower of the Twin Towers in Manhattan, NY, by four mohammedans. Or become a student at the University of Illinois. Their student health plan now covers it too.
