If Putin gets away with this he'll cast his eye on Finland, which the Russians always considered theirs and was, until 1918 anyway. Both sides would love the chance to settle old scores there. After that there would the Baltic States and Poland. There's no end to the bloody history of ‘’The Russian Bear’’. It could be the equivalent of the Middle East in Eastern Europe-- with nukes. Picking another fight with Poland would be a big mistake for Vlad. There are probably no two peoples on this earth who hate each other as much as Poland and Russia. I've known many Poles in my life who salivate at the thought of mixing it up with "Ivan''.
