It's a national mystery that has left both the social media world and the Secret Service scratching their heads.
On Sunday night, a photo of what appears to be Malia Obama wearing a Pro Era shirt surfaced on Instagram. It quickly went viral after the Brooklyn-based hip-hop collective posted the pic to advertise its online store.
A rep for the group told Gawker on Monday that the photo was from "a mutual friend of Malia and the pro era member," but White House officials aren't so sure. Fox News reports that government officials are looking into the photo's origins.
Michelle Obama has been very vocal in the past about how she regulates her daughters' social media usage. She told Barbara Walters in 2013 that Malia could only use Facebook, and Sasha was banned from all forms of social media in an effort to protect the girls from the public eye.

I just had this incredible idea! How’s about somebody, anybody walking into a room at the White House and asking Malia herself to explain the photo. Make sure Papa Bear, Mama-Mooch or the Granny-Who-Never-Leaves are not there, or daughter-girl may be too afraid to talk honestly. No “Aunt Valerie” in the room either. In fact, maybe you should have one of her teacher’s ask the question during the day at that very expensive school the taxpayers have been billed for.

Me too. Unfortunately they'll be on the dole courtesy of us taxpayers after they get booted out of the White House. They'll never have to work for the rest of their lives. But Obama never did any real work so nothing new there. Hoping Kenya or Indonesia takes them in, because they hate America so much.
She did it herself? Probably.

Well, do they think someone jumped the fence, raced upstairs to her room, snapped her picture by surprise, ran out of the building, jumped the fence and disappeared in the night...... then posted that picture on-line?
One of two things happened:
1. A friend of hers posted the picture on-line.
2. A friend of hers gave the picture to a friend who posted it on-line.
It took me 3 minutes to investigate and post that.

Idiots! That photo is a “selfie”, which she probably took herself with her laptop computer. How tough was that to figure out? Her “dad” takes selfies all the time so the “apple didn’t fall too far from the tree”.
