Republican capitulation LEGALLY RATIFIES ILLEGAL AMNESTY

The legal principal is that if you ratify through funding of the illegal act of a president gone berserk, you have just ratified his illegal act, waived objection and approved of his decree. STOP THIS!!

Let me clarify that the Senate and House are about to approve, not only of amnesty for illegal alien amnesty , but the illegal way in which this KING has laid down his decree. The Department of Justice will now argue--(and take this to the bank) that "The Senate and House have approved, by funding, the president's law making" !!

Really? They put a line item in the bill specifically funding his order? Where did you get this information?

The courts can still overturn it if they decide it is unconstitutional but congressional approval through funding is a factor.

BTW, Rules Committee is tonight writing up an extension until March 19 for the DHS funding.

Kick the can down the road, perpetuate the sense of “crisis”. Keep things in play, keep the schmooze game going, there’s votes to traded.

Obama is committing illegal acts which must not be funded. Why is this so difficult for Congress?

No. A law cannot amend the Constitution.
Period.
The Judiciary can and does throw out laws passed and signed by the other two branches, and actions by the Executive that have legislative approval if they are not authorized by the Constitution.

What a waste of time. What is going to happen between now and March 19? Are there some stems cells growing a GOP spine somewhere? There is absolutely no reason to kick the can down the road. Is this the new Republican strategy? Just keep putting everything off until people stop paying attention, or until there is something more pressing? Surrender, and get it over with.

“The Courts will Say that both houses funded and ratified. Watch.”
*******************************************************************************************
That would NOT surprise me in the least. The RINOs and McConnell are just giving ACTIVIST LEFTIST JUDGES the excuse they need to say Obama’s illegal moves are now legitimate.

I would like to know WHY, IN GOD’S NAME, the weakling McConnell doesn’t wave the 60 vote closure limit for THIS LEGISLATION needed to support the Obama regime’s usurpation of the Congress’ constitutionally defined responsibilities and powers..

Once again, could you please advise where you got the information they are putting in a line item to specifically fund and authorize his executive amnesty?

Well...if they did in fact pass a law authorizing this change in policy it would be constitutional, even if bad law. The point is that they didn’t pass a law authorizing this and the President just created the legislation through ‘executive’ action.

In this case yes. I was pointing out the power and duty of the courts in general. And in this case mere funding, absent a change in law, would not affect the constitutionality of Obama’s order (memo actually).

Why? Because McConnell, like most Republicans, is a Democrat. Don’t fall for their head fakes.

Uniparty Rules.

Expectation is that they will vote on the extension right after the “one minutes”, finish up some stuff and go home.

Pete Sessions is a sneak and a RINO, but I must say he runs a fine meeting!

At least the dems have the respect for their elected officials. These RINOS have respect from no one. What kind of person does it take to be like that?

I agree completely.

Boehner’s staffer that I talked to says that is not the case. I think he’s trying to cover for treason.

Owebowmao will argue this in court, hey they gave me the money for it so they must be o.k. with it.
