The US Department of Justice and embattled mayor Rahm Emanuel are under mounting pressure to investigate allegations of what one politician called “CIA or Gestapo tactics” at a secretive Chicago police facility exposed by the Guardian.
Politicians and civil-rights groups across the US expressed shock upon hearing descriptions of off-the-books interrogation at Homan Square, the Chicago warehouse that multiple lawyers and one shackled-up protester likened to a US counter-terrorist black site in a Guardian investigation published this week.
As three more people came forward detailing their stories of being “held hostage” and “strapped” inside Homan Square without access to an attorney or an official public record of their detention by Chicago police, officials and activists said the allegations merited further inquiry and risked aggravating wounds over community policing and race that have reached as high as the White House.

I stand by my opinion.
The Founders fought back over a 3% tax on tea. If there were to be any kind of revolt, it would have started already. We've failed the Founders.
We have NOT failed the Founders, and I am RIGHT on this, it has started already, as a matter of fact, it has been going on the last few years called the TEA PARTY.
The simple source of this is the democrat party. Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Fuehrer, Heil Obama!

That’s what he wants.
He’s banking on Bonehead being too much of a coward to use his constitutional authority to stop him and the American people taking matters into their own hands to stop him.
Two of the 3 branches of govt have told him to stop what he is doing.
If he doesn’t stop Bonehead and congress can declare him in rebellion against the govt of the US.
Bonehead and congress have the authority to call forth the militia to suppress a rebellion against the govt.
It wouldn’t be simply a mob removing him from power but the “well regulated militia” as described in the 2nd Amendment.
That little move will strip him of all power, especially over the military.
With a mob he will use the military to crush them because it will be the mob in rebellion against the US govt.
The Founding fathers weren’t stupid, they thought of this and gave us a remedy.
A working companion (white man) told me of his days as a teen in Chicago.
In the early 1960s, He smarted off to a couple of cops, they grabbed him , took him way out in the country, and beat the coon dog s#!t out of him, and left him there.
The tea tax was just the tipping point; the Founders’ grievances predate it by several years.
The IRS was formed in 1913. Why are we not pissed enough yet? No, there will be no revolt. The GOP is working over time to crush the Tea Party. The Tea Party is being used by the GOP - look at last year's election. Here in CO, I got behind Cory Gardner, who sure did sound an awful lot like a Tea Party type. Then, he got elected, and did what the GOP does: ran the white flag of surrender up the pole, right out of the gate.
Biggirl is right in that the Tea Party was started as a means of revolt. Where has it gotten us? We STILL have obolacare, obola is still not in jail, Lois Lerner still has her bonus, Holder is still running free...no, there will be no revolt. I've been saying there would be for many many years now. Reality is hitting - there will be no revolt. We will do as the Jews did...fear of retaliation will keep us quiet, and by the time we wake up to the fact we're being loaded in boxcars, it'll be too late.
And what do you consider a "credible source"? The MSM? Lately we've gotten far more credible info about what's happening in the US from sources outside of the US media.
.....Or we could be like those Christians who are now are starting with the Kurds in Iraq/Kurdistan end up fighting back.
I will hold out hope for that. I'm not entirely convinced, but I would hope that the Christians would. We'll see.

While I agree that we don't know for certain what is going on, it's Chicago. What makes you think any official investigation by the Holder DOJ will make whole truth public?
