If you are a GOP candidate, and you have supported anything other than Border security and enforcing the law, YOU WILL NOT GET MY VOTE.
If you can’t see the utter stupidity of supporting illegal activity re; Border Enforcement, you aren’t qualified to be president.
Walker admitted he had changed his position regarding illegal immigration.
In 2013, he was for comprehensive immigration. On FoxNews Sunday, he said he had changed his mind and is now against comprehensive immigration.
He said ‘first, we need to secure the southern border.’
==
That ‘secure the border’ canard is raised again.
Is Walker sincere or just telling conservatives what they want to hear? If he is not sincere, that narrows the field of contenders down to about one who opposes amnesty.
Heck, even McCain, Graham, Romney, jBush, and most of the other wannabes have used the ‘secure the border’ canard.
Rubio has moral backbone? By what measurement?
Not only must the GOP nominee believe 100 percent EXACTLY as I believe, he MUST have believed that from the day he was born. Otherwise, I’ll do every thing I can to see that Hillary becomes president.
If Walker were elected President, I’m sure that VP Cruz would keep Walker in line regarding amnesty to illegals.
I agree with you. Border Security and enforcing the current laws on the books before we go reinvent the wheel. Oh, and impeach the imposter.
Jen won’t be getting my vote either!
Does admitting "I was wrong" count?
That was “Jeb” ... that ole spelling checker thinks it knows better than me what I want ... LOL ...
However, he did none of those things and never signed any pro-illegal legislation.
His coming out against amnesty (which he was never in support of) and securing the border first is a smart move and reflects the reality of the issue among the American people.
Depends on his actions after that. Words have to be backed up by them, especially in light of the proverb about leopards and their spots from Jeremiah 13:23.
I guess you have no defining issue that you cannot compromise on? Hypocrite.
I support the immediate outer of BooHooner after next Fridays cave in. I will stay home if any candidates supports amnesty and is a nominee. If it comes down to a real Democrat and a want to be democrat Rino— I wont vote— who cares who wins?
Perry, Perry, Perry, sigh (shakes head).
But at CPAC he had a salient insight into why amnesty flopped which deserves a repeat: he said that no matter what langusge they put in the bill to ally American concerns---secure borders and the like---that "Americans did not believe the govt would do any of it."
Conservatives have been holding their noses and voting for Republican liberals simply because those candidates aren’t Democrats. Conservatives should be done with compromising. If the candidate is going to let lawlessness run amok and not going to uphold conservative values and beliefs, I’m not voting for him. Period.
Except, he doesn’t admit he was wrong on amnesty. He admits he was wrong on the way he approached it. Where does he say he does not support granting legal status to illegal aliens?
