Vermont? Just do away with age requirements entirely. It’s a beautiful state, but......

That’s stupid. There is not one good reason why these kids can’t wait 12-24 months to vote.

It'll serve the parents of that town right. Minimum Allowance will be 20 dollars a day. Free Universal Car Keys. Video Game Stamps.

Wait. It's Vermont. Those kids probably already get all those things.

Yep, but two ballots would work, one for the youngsters and
one for the old folks.

I was never a liberal thank God.

An advantage resulting from growing up in an isolated rural town. There just wasn’t much in the way of liberal influence.

And a day off from school to go vote. The day before, teachers can have them complete a sample ballot after being instructed to check the boxes for Democrats.

Or maybe school buses can take them directly to the polls with their Democrat checked sample ballot as a reference guide.

I mean, 16 and 17 year olds follow politics very closely, oh, wait...

Hmm. I used to live there. Whenever the left starts losing its choke hold on Vermont or a local in Vermont they float the idea of letting thoroughly indoctrinated high school students vote. Something must have the local left worried..
