The spear or other silent weapons have their place on the battlefield. Not just things that go boom.

That's why the 2nd says arms, and not firearms.

Oh, I expect that too but it won’t be soon and it won’t be done by some “elected” official. It’s going to have to be done the hard way - kinda like when we shook off the British Crown in the latter part of the 1700’s.

I feel like we have done pretty well over the past 6 years using the democratic process especially considering the position we were left in in 2008. They held the house, the senate, and the whitehouse and now, here we are, our fortunes all but reversed.

To quote Friedrich Nietzsche:

"Extreme positions are not succeeded by moderate ones, but by contrary extreme positions."

Americans have repeatedly rejected Obama's extreme positions and now the stage is set for a Republican trifecta. If we manage to get the right Republican through the primary election, we are poised to have control of the House, the Senate, and the Whitehouse.

I don't think we can say that the Democratic process doesn't or can't work. I think it has worked exactly as it was designed to work and I am optimistic. look where we came from back in 2008. look where we are. look where we are headed. The system has worked.

If we manage a trifecta with a solid conservative President, much of what has been done will be undone and America will be unchained again.

Oh, heck, yeah! I’m just pointing out how the ATF is distorting the legal definitions that exist in the statute law. Body armor is not armor and steel tipped bullets are not AP bullets.

I’m sorry, but looking back from my vantage point of nearly 81 years on this earth, things don’t look all that good. Sure, the Republicans have won the Senate and retained the majority in the House but too many of them act like Democrats when they get into office. From where I sit too many supposedly ‘conservative’ Republicans have voted - not with their wallets, but with ours. They talk a good fight before the election but once in office they change.

I would love to be wrong here, but I truly believe the only way we’ll ever get our Republic back is to decorate Pennsylvania Avenue lampposts with politicians and their unelected henchmen. I don’t know whether to be sorry or happy I’m too old to help pull on the ropes but it’s a job that needs to be done.

Good luck to you and yours. God bless America!
