Congress sends ‘clean’ Homeland bill to Obama

WASHINGTON — Congress is sending President Obama a bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security through the end of the budget year, without overturning the president’s immigration policies.

The House on Tuesday voted 257-167 for the measure that Obama is expected to sign. Without action, funding for the department would have expired Friday at midnight.

So...this group sold the ‘conservative’ House members in December that their CR would include only 2 months of Homeland Security spending so they could deal with it in the new year. Some were stupid enough to vote for it. Then, a small handful of decent Reps realized by Jan 1 the leadership was in the tank for amnesty and went for a new Speaker. They got beat because some of the same gullible idiots who voted for the CR stuck with the current leadership for another term.

So...everyone one of the so called conservatives that voted for the CR and then for Boehner in January need to be primaried...and if they hang on need to lose in the general. This is inexcusable.
