Fear is no substitute for the bankruptcy of the Republican Party....It looks like that’s all you got.
As it stands now I see the business community and business behind Amnesty, Common Core, Obamacare.
I see a collusion of business and government against conservative principles if you ask me.
And on the social issue of the hour, Governor Bentley in Alabama won’t resist the federal judge who legalized Gay Marriage there because he’s afraid of Alabama losing jobs.
Maybe we do need to be a little more “left” until business comes to its senses on these issues......
The Corporatism and Crony Capitalism we have now is pretty lame......
Bluster is no substitute for reason.
What exactly is it they propose to do?
In the 30's the bashing of banks in particular kept the middle class from getting house loans, small business loans, car loans. How does that help the middle class to get ahead exactly? To slam the banks all the time caused the extension of the depression. The Marxist loved the policy because job creation was stifled in a big way. And we know they hate prosperity. What I hate to see is conservatives joining themselves to Marxism. It may result in 4 terms of Obama...a dreadful trick that FDR pulled.
It is “reason” that is slowly bankrupting this country and destroying its core values and traditions.......
Financial Services companies-Banks seem to run this country.
Heck, our politicians in Washington remind me of the credit card people. Every year or so they increase the card limit (debt ceiling) of the USA.
If I pay my credit card off I’m a bad customer.
I need to stay in debt and make monthly payments to be a good customer.
Nigel Farage is talking about national debt in the UK and how “Conservative” David Cameron has doubled it in the past five years.
He intends to take money away from foreign aid and the EU and put it back into the UK.
Fiscal responsibility alone seems like a good platform even though the banks-financial services people seem to care about it.
Governments increase debt ceilings, rating companies downgrade countries, taxes are raised to pay off creditors.
There has to be a better way and Farage is bringing us of the wilderness of believing there are big differences between major parties.....They are a Uniparty subordinate to big business and big banks.....
Well if you want to instead put a gun to the country’s head and blow it’s brain’s out to get it all over with quickly, then go ahead and support vote splitting.
If conservatives can’t win a GOP primary they sure as hell aren’t gonna win a 3-way general election.
To attempt to do so would be like trying walk 100 miles because you can’t figure out how to steer a car.
They aren’t going to win a three way unless they broaden their appeal like UKIP did?
Immigration was the perfect issue with all the cheap labor hurting the working class more liberal-left voters.
The Democrats are all in on immigration in this country but many working class voters still are suspicious of the R label. A new label might just do the trick for getting their votes.
We have the Canadian experience with the Liberal Party ruling the roost for 10 plus years while there was a split among the more conservative voters.
Canada didn’t blow its head off but the corruption proved the undoing of the Liberal Party in the end plus its overreach like trying to impose a gun registry on the country.
Exactly.
Trying to engineer targeted tax cuts is a game the 'Rats will always win.
To cut taxes, you must reduce the rates across the board, no questions asked. The promise to the voter is increased take-home pay, regardless of income or circumstance.
