I was under the impression that this was one of the atrocious “experiments” practiced by Nazi doctors on their prisoners during WW2. There was a scene in an old movie called The Boys From Brazil (very good, very scary movie) where a little dark-skinned Latino boy had had his brown eyes turned to blue by the Nazi doctor (Dr. Mengele type) who had escaped there after the war, played by Gregory Peck. If it HAS been done, or attempted, before, I wonder who is starting it up now and why? Creepy.
I was wondering if I were alone in thinking of the abominable scientific experiments of the NAZIs in WWII.
(N.B. The word, NAZI, is an acronym, hence the capitalization.)
