Trey Gowdy sees months-long gaps in Clinton emails
Politico ^ | 03/08/2015 | Adam Sneed

The top House Republican Benghazi investigator says the emails Hillary Clinton has handed over for review have “huge gaps” that challenge her credibility over what happened in the 2012 attacks in Libya.

“There are gaps of months and months and months,” Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) said on Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”

In the batch of emails handed over to the House Select Committee on Benghazi, Gowdy said there’s no record of any communication on the day that Clinton was famously photographed wearing sunglasses and typing on her Blackberry.

“We have no emails from that trip,” he said. “It strains credibility to believe that if you’re on your way to…to discuss Libyan policy that there’s not a single document that’s been turned over to Congress.”

Gowdy said his committee won’t be releasing information on any of the emails it has received so far because they don’t present the full picture of what happened during Benghazi attacks that killed the U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other Americans. Clinton is welcome to release all of the emails she archived while serving as secretary of State, he said, but she doesn’t get to decide what’s in the public record and what isn’t.

“Frankly. I’ve lost confidence in the State Department to make that determination,” Gowdy said. “They’re the ones who allowed this arrangement. They’re the ones who did nothing about this arrangement until they got a request from our committee.”

Well, Trey—Are you just going to jaw about it or are you actually going to do something?

(My money’s on jaw.)

The scandal is already losing momentum. By the time the election cycle is in full swing she will be able to sneer and say “That is old news,” “so what difference does it make?”(sound familiar?) The American people and the alien invaders are so degenerate that with their combined vote HILLARY WILL BE ELECTED. YOUR OWN SYSTEM HAS BEEN TURNED AGAINST YOU.

Not enough yet. I want the evidence to be so piled up and overwhelming that the RATs
could not dispute any of it, ever. And besides that, do we want Obama to pardon Hillary and the cabal
involved? Then we wait for 2016. I certainly can.

The logs themselves can be deleted or edited.

If I was assigned the task of cleaning up Hillary’s emails, I would backup the harmless emails and logs, then reformat the server, wiping out every single item on hard disk, then reload the system software and then copy back the emails. The logs can be edited to suit.

Since Hillary chose to mix personal and official government emails, I believe she forfeits any rights to privacy for her emails. Gowdy should demand all emails. She should lose privacy because of her actions.

Life must be blissful, when history starts every morning when you open your eyes. Could you please point to anything the Republicans have done in that past 4+ years that should give anyone confidence? We all know how this is going to play out, at some point the media will start to defend Hillary, the going will get tough, and the Republicans, along with Gowdy, will crawl under their desks and hide. I would love to be disproven, but intelligence guided by experience, tells me we will watch her avoid responsibility for yet another criminal act.

>>If Trey Gowdy subpenas the hard drive<<

Question: If you were the insurer providing home insurance for Hillary’s house would you now consider raising the premiums significantly?

Just food for thought.

And if they find an e-mail or text on someone else’s computer to/from Hillary that doesn’t exist in her log?

I can’t wait for the 6 minute youtube video of Gowdy dressing Hillary down in front of the committee as he explains in concise and succinct terms the law and the reason behind the law and then point out that Clinton did it precisely to avoid ‘the reason behind the law’.

But than, that’s all that’s going to happen. That’s the payoff. A cool Gowdy video.

Give Gowdy credit for one thing: He boils down the issue to something people can understand.

No one, repeat, no one, in the entire country is going to believe that Hillary sent no official emails for months at a time.

What was in them? That can get confusing. But sending them at all? Clear as a bell. She didn’t give the committee access to all of her official emails.

Not necessarily. The regime has the ability to literally alter history (the written record), and that includes computer data that is supposedly “non-manipulable”.

There is a LOT more that the public has yet to be informed about. If they ever have ears to hear.

Your post #28 is "right on the money."

It's happened that way far too many times in the last 5 years to expect anything different.

GOP asks White House for details of personal email use

8/3/12

Congressional Republicans asked the Obama administration on Friday for a list of White House staffers’ personal email addresses used to conduct government business — and copies of messages sent from those accounts — amid new scrutiny of presidential aides’ use of non-official accounts.

“The American people have a right to know that White House staff and federal officials are conducting the business of the government transparently and in accordance with record-keeping statutes,” Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), the chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, wrote in a Friday letter to White House chief of staff Jack Lew.

Hacked Emails Show Hillary Clinton Was Receiving Advice at a Private Email Account From Banned, Obama-Hating Former Staffer

3/20/13

As the Smoking Gun and others have reported, a hacker calling himself (or herself) “Guccifer” claims to have compromised the email account of former Clinton aide Sidney Blumenthal, revealing memos that Blumenthal purportedly wrote to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton about Benghazi and other matters. What seems to have escaped notice is that Blumenthal, a fierce Clinton partisan in the 1990s, was the orchestrator of a subterranean smear campaign against Obama during the Democratic primary and was specifically spiked by the White House as a potential staffer for Clinton when she became Secretary of State. And he was sending notes to Clinton at a private, non-governmental email address. Did Obama know Clinton was consulting with the guy who tried to kneecap him?

I don’t know how she can be sure that hackers don’t already have the records she has most likely deleted.

“It’s called grandstanding”.
The day this scandal breaks open is the day Gowdy issues a supeona
is the day Gowdy starts his grandstanding.
Quite oblivious.
