I believe there are illegals on corn farms.

But for every illegal on a corn farm there’s probably 100 or 1000 working somewhere else.

2 Different issues and 2 different groups of illegal aliens.

Let’s assume 30,000 illegals work on meat packing plants and there are 1,000 illegals on corn farms, which is the bigger problem and which industry has more at stake if the illegals disappear?

Grain farmers don’t hire illegals for farming. They’re not more moral, they just don’t need them. Too high tech and mechanized. Same with anything connected to ethanol and dairy.

In ag, it’s fruit and vegetable growers, tree farms and such that make use of illegals.

I don’t think these are 100% wonderful people we are dealing with.

Im just saying 10 billion for the corn lobby is cheaper price to pay than 10 trillion for amnesty and the lobbies that want it.

It’s one thing to sell out for 1 industry or 1 project or 1 state, but to sell out everybody for a payday from the amnesty lobby is another thing.

This is what is unappealing about Paul Ryan and Jeff Flake worried about fiscal conservative. I know they are retired from that game anyway but who cares about earmarks or corn subsidies when some of these fiscal conservatives want to spend trillions on illegals.

A new contender has thrown his hat into the ring. He has long hair, has lived in various places, only eats fish and bread, volunteers a lot, suggested that we pay taxes, his mother was knocked-up at an early age, his father was a drifter barely able to make ends meet. This man was once seen messing up a few banks, and often crashes on the couches of whomever will let him in.. and on top of that, he spends his time feeling people’s feet. He also has a spanish sounding name and dark skin and he’s a pacifist and he smells like a barn.

Pass...I think I’ll wait for the Ronald Reagan clone project to bear fruit in 40 years.

Emotions do get in the way of establishing realistic priorities.

With the feds, the important thing is setting a tone of restraint. Once everyone understands the pie is going to be smaller, a lot of progress can be made on a lot of fronts at the same time.

You make great points. Illegal invaders are given free reign in our nation to work on farms and to be exploited wage-wise and physical-labor-wise. In WI, many of these illegal invaders have taken over small communities, such as Stoughton, to work on dairy farms, in restaurants, and in construction. I reckon tens of thousands of Wisconsin citizens have lost their jobs to these illegal invaders. And nary a word from Governor Walker.
