I remember when the Monica Lewinski story first broke, I was watching one of the Sunday morning news.
I remember Cokie Roberts saying that if the story turned out to be true that Clinton was gone. All the others agreed with her.
Then suddenly something happened.
Next thing you know, they are all defending Clinton and attacking anyone who tried to hold them accountable. Also constantly mentioning how much the investigation was costing.
Basically some group met, decided they were going to save Clinton and called in all their media pals and sure enough they did save him, just barely.
He was proved to have lied to the American People, to have committed perjury and committed all kinds of sexual crimes with a girl under his authority.
He should have been thrown under the jail.

I remember that Sunday. It seemed an absolute certainty that no man could remain in the WH if he was guilty of getting BJ’s in the Oval Office. It just seemed self-evident.

Nothing is going to happen to the Washington elites unless there is a full blown armed revolution that sweeps the entire nation. Then there is a chance.
If there is a full blown armed revolution here, then lots of other things are going to happen in the world like China taking Taiwan, Russia taking Eastern Europe, etc. Maybe some outside countries might take a side in the revolution.
The odds of a armed revolution happening here are about the same as Hillary being convicted. Near zero.
