Working Class Gives Up On Obama, Fears Job Losses [opening for Republican Party]
Investor's Business Daily ^ | March 10, 2015 | JOHN MERLINE,

In what could be a significant opening for the Republican Party, working-class Americans have largely abandoned President Obama and rejected his economic policies as they continue to suffer from the historically weak economic recovery, a new analysis of IBD/TIPP Poll data finds.

By wide margins, this group is more likely than any other income class to say the country is headed in the wrong direction, the economy is getting worse, and they fear losing their jobs.

Just 36% approve of the job that Obama is doing, compared with 43% overall, and vast majorities say his policies haven't helped the middle class.

Over the past two months, IBD has asked people to identify themselves as upper class, upper-middle class, middle class, working class or lower class.

The average income for self-described working class families was just over $50,700 a year, close to the national median household income. Those calling themselves middle class had an average income of $70,800, and the average for upper-middle class was close to $100,000........

And the wealthy are trying to close the door behind them. THEY could live to be 500, but not us. THEY can live well, but not us.

The working class will never be able to retire.

Abyone who didn’t ‘give up’ on Obama five years ago is so brain dead as to be a virtual idiot.

The GOPe, just like the dems, want to replace American workers with illegals and H1Bs.

I really don’t understand them, frankly.

They have become well off and powerful through the gullibility of hard working Americans with traditional conservative values and a desire to be free from government in excess. They did this principally through deceit - telling us what they knew we wanted to hear, but doing otherwise.

Even now, they hate conservatives and Americans whose lives aren’t ruled by the be-all and end-all of government. Those people who still want a sovereign country and who want to protect its heritage from overwhelming third world influence. It is an influence which will dissolve us.

So they, and those business interests seeking cheap labor and big profits above all else, look for a new way. The way of the immigrant of any form. It is much easier to pander to them by laying the riches of our country before them - what do they care? America will live forever in their minds (as long as they are in control).

What they don’t fully realize is that those they want to replace us are generationally coded to exist under less-than-fair governance - tyranny and oppression. As long as they get what they want they’re happy until the new whatever dictator delivers (makes the trains run on time, blames the religion/race du jour, or controls prices/retirements/handouts). Elsewise, you have a series of coups, revolutions or uprisings that brings in a new dictator to repeat the whole process again.

It would be great if we had a 2-party system in America instead of an Elite Party with two more-or-less equivalent branches.

They will NEVER give him up.

He’s pure gold to them... no matter what.

If Republicans think they’ll fish in muddy water, they’re wasting their time ... as usual

There will be a surge of “Reagan Democrats” in 2016 - look at that chart.

Democrats are doing everything possible to “excite” their base - look at the race-baiting, women-baiting, anti-American baiting, buried-in-school-debt baiting, etc.

The only ones left are blacks clinging to their “Hope and Change” signs (and crack pipes and guns).

The Stupid Party wants illegal immigrants to take these middle class folks’ jobs.

And they fight for it. They attack republicans who oppose illegal amnesty, they commit vote fraud against them, they accuse them of racism.

That is the stupid party. It used to be Ronald Reagan’s party.

They also are far more hostile to Obama's executive action granting amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants — 62% of the working class oppose it

Another opening that the GOP has blown.

I'd bet money that the majority are the elites, the academics, the severely educated, anti-American dupes that support Hillary/Warren.

Obviously due to a leadership void - we need someone who will step up and fill that breach.

Once upon a time being middle class was an achievement, today it's considered a curse warns Grant Cardone: “Notification to the middle class is get out, get above it, whatever you have to do.”

76% of middle class workers are living paycheck to paycheck, and with wage growth stagnant saving for retirement and planning for your future is likely not happening. In order to rise above the fray you need to simply earn more, says Cardone...The clock is ticking. Middle class Americans are carrying an average debt load of $84,000, an increase of 161% from 1992 which is rapidly creating a two class society in America. “Poverty is getting bigger, wealthy people are getting bigger and the middle class is actually shrinking,” ...That may mean eventually America will consist of only the rich and the poor.

Sobering Stats on the Middle Class

Amen to your statement. Neither Party actually serves average Americans. They represent their own..... Harvard and Yale and the political class, and two wings of an elite bird not America.

Still too many brain dead, robotic dim voters. I know a few but have pretty much cut them out of my life. I don’t enjoy spending time with people who hate my family.
