Honeymoon Over: Scott Walker Under Fire for New Open Borders Amnesty Advocate Staffer Who Mocks Iowa
Breitbart ^ | 3/16/2015 | Mathew Boyle

Posted on 03/16/2015 8:28:38 PM PDT by gwgn02

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker made another massive misstep on Monday, hiring Liz Mair of Mair Strategies to handle communications and social media for his campaign-in-waiting.

Mair’s support for amnesty for illegal aliens, wide-open-borders immigration policies, and public advocacy for the Senate “Gang of Eight” amnesty bill is sure to dog Walker in Iowa, South Carolina, and other early presidential states.

During the Senate Gang of Eight bill fight, Mair very publicly and very aggressively promoted the amnesty bill—pushing it to media and making the case for the need for it over and over again. She claims her advocacy was done out of the good of her heart, for free, because for religious reasons she believes in amnesty and open borders. But Mair wouldn’t answer who was paying her bills for her advocacy during the timeframe of the “Gang of Eight” bill in early 2013 through the end of the last Congress–when asked by Breitbart News if any specific tech companies or a select group of Wall Street billionaires were paying her.

“We’re contractually barred from disclosing our clients,” Mair said.

That could mean anyone—even foreign companies potentially—were paying her during the timeframe she was publicly advocating for the amnesty bill. While she didn’t have to disclose it to the public at the time now that she’s hitched to Walker the Wisconsin governor owns everything she said and did.

So John, what are your thoughts regarding Walker endorser Grover Norquist? You know old Grover, the big stick for those 2 America hating Islamic terrorist outfits, C.A.I.R and The Muslim brotherhood.

Looks like the GOPe and the media have found some ammo for the conservative circular firing squad. The goal is to pick off Walker, pick off Cruz, relegate the rest to “not a serious contender” status, and yet again let the MSM, the DNC, and the GOPe pick the candidate that THEY want.

” Those are bad enough but where this delves beyond just issue disagreement into amateur hour is the fact that while Scott Walker is having a debutante ball at the Iowa Freedom Summit hosted by Steve King—his big coming out party—she is on Twitter ripping the event and ripping Iowans, saying Iowans are ‘embarrassing’ that as soon as Iowa loses its first in the nation status the better we’ll all be, that we’re just a bunch of government dependents.”

Yes, she’s quite the twitter virtuoso.

Has Jeff Sessions attacked his position ? Honestly, most candidates who are not of Washington usually like to talk policy with those individuals who are closest to the issue like Sessions. Cruz was already part of the debate on the hill. Would you rather a potential candidate give a sloppy answer to a reporter over the phone and later contradict himself when he releases something far more detailed after talking with someone like Sessions...et al. This is a tantrum from a reporter who did not get an exclusive.

Attack the messenger, attack the poster. Spin and spin some more.

Why the straw man argument? Why the stupid question?

If someone is sympathetic and supportive of terrorism and has questionable views regarding terrorism, would you support Walker hiring them as their spokesperson?

Obviously, no one wants a terrorist supporter in the WH

But you said media/communications directors do not make policy. What would it matter?

Do you think Americans care if a potential presidential candidate like Walker, hires a communications/media director for such a prominent position who is obviously pro-amnesty?

You’re the one that’s spinning. Obv, Sessions hasn’t attacked him.

Supporting terrorism is not a policy. You’re mixing and matching the two. Gee, the Obama admin does the same thing. Learning from them these days?

Why would a conservative Republican associate with and conduct business with, and put into such a prominent position, an individual who is obviously pro-amnesty?

Who cares if Sessions has not attacked him? If Sessions does not attack him, that makes everything ok?

Again attack the messenger to divert from the news.

Supporting/sympathizing with terrorism is not a policy.

If Walkers new communications/media boss who supports massive amnesty, policy?

Why would a conservative Republican associate with and conduct business with, and put into such a prominent position, an individual who is obviously pro-amnesty?

Would you do this?

Do you think this woman is so extraordinary in her role that he just had to pick her?
Would there be a tipping point with you if he kept putting more and more hires around him with similar views?

The point is: Was there really no actual conservatives available to do the same , damn job and avoid such a controversy?!

So is he dumb or does he just not care too much about these issues? ( I put gay marriage and abortion in front of amnesty so he’s especially done to me)

“HONEYMOON OVER:” was part of the headline. It seems it very well could be over.

This appears to be a self inflicted wound....not good.

If Walker doesn’t figure to how to clean this up and with lightning speed, he’s done. Walker needs to fix this bleed first thing tomorrow morning.

Hmmm, no. I’ve read his obamacare replacement and his vision for Nasa. He still has a patina of negativity about him.

And I did say .... or the media isn’t giving him a fair shake ... to paraphrase.

We need vision and real hope for real change. Cruz is a bit deficit, he has a bit of work to shake that bad boy image or convert it to something useable out of the center right.

Liz Nair in her own words...

http://www.lizmair.com/

She’s a loose cannon libertarian. If Walker doesn’t dump her soon he’ll be spending all his time picking up her droppings.
