Pennsylvania woman was arrested at Miami International Airport for allegedly being disorderly on a flight and not complying with the flight crew, according to a police report.
Karen Halnon, 52, was on an American Airlines flight headed from Managua, Nicaragua to Miami on Saturday.
Officials and passengers said Halnon, a Penn State University professor, started ranting about halfway through her two and a half hour flight.
The United States has declared war on Venezuela! The United States has declared war on Venezuela! the woman repeatedly said, according to iPhone footage shot by a fellow passenger. Venezuela has been declared an international security threat!
The video also showed the woman lighting up a cigarette and trying to blame another passenger.
Reached by phone Monday night, Halnon told NBC 6 she was protesting U.S. military global domination, U.S. imperialism.
Halnon, who described herself as a revolutionary, said she didnt mean any harm and said the cigarette was a joke.
That was more in jest, every good revolutionary smokes, she said. You have to have a sense of humor when youre in this kind of situation.
Police said when the plane landed and an officer approached her, she was asked to stop yelling but refused. She was asked to exit the plane but replied, (Expletive) you. This is not a democracy.
Halnon reportedly refused to calm down and was escorted off the plane where she was later arrested for disorderly conduct. She was taken to Miamis Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. Halnon said she was questioned by the FBI and was mistreated.
Well, her tirade is understandable: If I looked like her I’d be mad at the world, too.
String her up on a dockyard crane.
Further evidence that leftists are mentally unstable.
For the record, those ‘sanctions’ specifically target a small group of the Venezuelan leadership for human rights abuses. The people the government are really at war with are their own.
These idiots think a plane is the proper venue for their rants and bad behaviors just because they have a captive audience. Lock her up in the loony bin for the next 5-7 years and never let her use public transportation again.
Mine were conservative. Ok, there was one who dressed like a hippy but he was a Mr. Chips-type, 60 something, balding and just didn't realize beads and sandals had gone out of style.
Go out in public and act white...
Wow!
I suppose that would mean I go out and public and act like my normal self, I mean as opposed to going out and acting black, which is done often by blacks and by whites who think that they are black, and there is a special term for those which I will leave unsaid, even though I really want to say it.
I can think of two examples of acting white that I have recently seen on tv.
One would be in the Geico commercial featuring Salt and Peppa singing “Push It Real Good”. At the end it shows Salt and Peppa following a white guy around while he is pushing his lawn mower. They are singing to him to push it real good, and he responds,”I’m pushing it. I’m pushing it real good” in a distinctly white cracker accent.
Another would be an advertisement for Will Ferrell’s new movie called “Get Hard” in which he plays an obvious and exaggerated white boy trying to get a black guy to thug him up and blackify him so that he can survive prison since he was busted for fraud, a white collar crime I note.
I would ask Will Ferrell why do you need to be blackified to go to prison, Will Ferrell? Are you trying to imply that you will run into back guys in prison and that you will feel out of place as a white guy? isn’t that kind of racist, Will Ferrell?
Even though, yeah, he will run into a bunch of black guys in prison, because hey, that’s where a good amount of them are.
I guess another example of acting white could be seen in Cartlon of Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
But yeah, our younger generations have had their minds and souls poisoned and filled with utter garbage, and that is without a doubt going to change this country in ways that are going to be very bad.
——these loons think that they are the intellectual elite that should rule the country like Plato’s guardians in The Republic-——
Astute observation...
They already consider themselves our overlords...
Your points are spot on. It’s very sad. Your comment about the racism behind Will Ferrell needing to ‘thug up’ to go to prison is particularly compelling. The ultra left (i.e. the current ‘left’ in the US) appears to be ironically oblivious to their own racism. My head is spinning, and I don’t even know what direction the US is heading in.
My head is spinning too. I am no longer able to recognize or understand the country and even the world that I live in.
I feel like live in an insane asylum.
One thing that seems clear to me though is that America is going to reach her final destination, and I think it’s going to be soon. I do no think that there is any way to change course at this point very sadly.
Nah, they’ll happily keep her around; it distracts from the Paterno/Sandusky/Spanier unpleasantness.
And she's just added "Cuban Revolution" to her list of career skills.
What does that even mean?

>> “People voted him in twice. Lots of people.” <<

The GOPe did their best to make that happen, both times.
.
“...GOPe did their best to make that happen, both times...”
Yup. So?
What’s your point? That we’re compromised?
Of course we are. Assume that and start to work to take it back. Or be prepared to duke it out in the streets.
Those are the options.
‘Good old Joe Pa U, damaging children for forty years!”

I don’t know anyone that ever went to Penn State but give it a rest.

We aren’t going to take anything back; the prophesied Falling away is just getting its baby steps in motion.
That doesn’t mean we have to like it.

SAM!!!!
Funny guy... His “How to Solve World Hunger” skit is still one of my all-time favorites...
.
It doesn’t need a ‘rest.’ It needs a louder voice. Tolerance is what gave birth to the mess.
.
“...We arent going to take anything back; ...”
Well, then you’ve already lost.
“...the prophesied Falling away ....”
Whatever. I don’t believe that for a minute.
But it’s such a HUGE school the percentage of people involved in the abuse is miniscule.
The school has the population of a small city and the entire place shouldn’t be condemned.
