Video: Dallas police open fire on schizophrenic man with screwdriver

Jason Harrison appears in the doorway, twiddling a screwdriver between his fingers.

One of two Dallas police officers called to the scene tells Harrison to drop the tool, a command the officers repeat at least four times as Harrison's mom screams, "Jay! Jay! Jay!"

Difficult to watch. No justification for this overreaction from the police officer.

I worked in a nut ward. One of the worst things we ever had to experience, was some nut who was off his meds. It was often times, very scary.
