Pretty sure it couldn’t be Obama.

He would have been high or “We-Weed” out.

Further, at this point, the Secret Service would probably kick the living Shiite out of anyone attempting to touch him, even if they are a duly sworn officer of the law.

Idiots.

It could just as well have been Ricky Schroeder too...

"...held down by a White police officer"

Good Lord, they have no shame.

“This guy is a real scumbag.

I saw the tape and he was cursing the cops and screaming racism as loud as he could. It worked too. Now everyone in authority in Virginia is jumping on the case.”

The guy was a drunk, under-age, assh0!e, who resisted arrest and was injured as a result.

The media is trying to equate this with the case of the girls buying water that were assaulted by the same ACB (Alcohol Control Board) agents. In that case, the ACB guys were out of control.

In this case, I want to see the guy’s blood alcohol level, since his being refused entry to a bar by the bouncer is what set this off.

If he was resisting arrest, why wasn’t he charged with Resisting Arrest?

I wish I had nerves of steel, or whatever you want to call it, like your mom. Blood has always freaked me out and this college kid was bleeding pretty bad. My own come home like that? I’d have been calling an ambulance :)

Personally, I’m tired of loud, aggressive, vulgar speech in the streets of America. It is offensive, violent and ugly. And coming out of the mouth of babes it is super offensive. These brats need to be studying and passing exams - not running around “protesting.”

I can understand that, but I don’t think people who curse should be beaten by the police.

My local news (central Virginia) has been covering this story. The first thing out of the guy’s mouth was, “I’m a UVA student!” (So what?) The second thing was, “You racists!!”

He and his people gave a press conference right in the middle of the street in downtown Charlottesville. His words were, “I’m bloodied but unbowed.” This is nothing but a shameless and cartoonishly obvious attempt to get in on the poor black beaten-down victim action.

My only comment was, “The Charlottesville PD must take the law against Public Swearing very seriously.”

I’m a bit surprised that college kids in Virginia who use curse words are tackled and beaten by three police officers, then arrested for Public Swearing.

Does this happen to everyone in Charlottesville who says a dirty word?

"My only comment was, “The Charlottesville PD must take the law against Public Swearing very seriously.”

You didn't read the article very carefully, did you?

Or, maybe you read selectively.

"I’m a bit surprised that college kids in Virginia who use curse words are tackled and beaten by three police officers, then arrested for Public Swearing."

How about kids who are guilty of public intoxication? The article states that was one of the charges. How did you miss that?

How about resisting arrest? According to numerous sources including UVA's Cavalier Daily, that was another of the charges, although you say it was not.

Obstruction of justice was another of the charges. So why are you perpetuating the lie that he was arrested only for cursing?

It's interesting, too, that Johnson is a member of a black social justice group on campus, and that the video conveniently starts after he is on the ground. So we don't see his behavior before that occurred.

"Does this happen to everyone in Charlottesville who says a dirty word?"

Well, as I've already demonstrated, this claim of yours is simply not truthful.

I don't live in Charlottesville; it's a liberal pit. You might want to check it out, though. You could really channel your efforts to champion the black grievance industry.

It wasn’t the Charlottesville PD. It was Gov McAuliffe’s ABC storm troopers.

I read that, and was surprised that people bring arrested for Public Intoxication in Virginia end up in the hospital getting ten stitches.

“It’s interesting, too, that Johnson is a member of a black social justice group on campus, and that the video conveniently starts after he is on the ground. So we don’t see his behavior before that occurred.”

I doubt there is a law in Virginia that makes it illegal to be a member of a social justice group.

As we all know, college kids get drunk and do and say stupid things.

Here's other versions of the story. This from WJLA-TV 7 in DC.

Here, the UVA kids get all huffy when they don't like what the police have to say. This is from WTOP Radio, in DC.
