‘Like an idiot I believed that’: Judge blasts DOJ over immigration claims, threatens sanctions

A federal judge sharply scolded a Justice Department attorney at a hearing on President Obama's immigration executive actions, suggesting that the administration misled him on a key part of the program -- and that he fell for it, "like an idiot."

The testy court hearing was held Thursday in Texas by U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen. The judge suggested he could order sanctions against the administration if he finds they indeed misrepresented the facts.

“But no one seems to be able to stop him, so — why not?”

Because it takes 67 votes in the Senate. It’s no mystery how the little bastard gets away with what he does, liberals agree with him.

The courts can do nothing, nobody can without 67 votes to do it.

Once he made it clear he would wipe his ass on the constitution, and Senate Demonrats would let him, there is nothing that can be done!

“Boehner and McConnell have probably said the same thing.
Gotta give the Dems and Team Obama credit — they are still running rings around the Republicans. Pelosi and Reid are manipulating things even during their minority status. Obama lost both chambers and is still getting what he wants — legal or not. But no one seems to be able to stop him, so — why not? Dems know how to play politics. The Pubbies seem to only know how to play Tiddly-Winks.”

That’s the present state of affairs in a nut shell.

He had to give the administration the benefit of the doubt.
Then he had to feign shock when betrayed.

The rise of the Bolsheviks is the best historical example of Obama and the left’s cult of power. They are vigorously anti Constitutional and deeply Marxist. Theirs is an aggressive assault on the fundamentals of American culture and government.

Well, TomGuy, it’s because they don’t want to stop him. In fact, they would prefer to publicly encourage him, but that would be just too obvious to the great unwashed pubbie masses.

Boner and Mitch are actually on the side of the professional politicians who make up the whole of the elected federal government. And, re-election is their only mantra.

I have a feeling Obama will try to go right over the judge's head.

I'd like to hear Cruz's take on this...he is the legal expert...my pick for attorney general under our 2016 Republican administration...and eventually, a USSC Justice.

Cruz is supposed to have a BIG announcement on Monday.

[Let us hope it isn't a Beck-er or Trump-er BIG-type revelation that turns out to be nothing more than hot air.]

Because it takes 67 votes in the Senate.

Yeah?

What did Majority Leader Reid do when faced with a similar obstacle?

Answer: He changed the Senate rule -- because he could do that with a simple 51 vote.

Now, McConnell has the power to call for similar rule changes. Will he? No. He already ceded that authority, just like Boehner ceded the 'power of the purse'.

In spite of countless examples throughout history, for some reason many people still don’t see it coming.

No truer words have ever been spoken. History for most is just a fairy tale about a bunch of ignorant old dead people. Each generation thinks it has everything figured out. Arrogance is human nature. Santayana was right that "those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it", and repeat it we do, generation after generation after generation.

The GOP is fully on board with everything the Obama administration is doing through these illegal executive orders.

This is all just a game to get it implemented in a way that protects the GOP from really having to answer for their complicity.

It takes 67 votes to IMPEACH. That can’t be changed.

Gotta give the Dems and Team Obama credit — they are still running rings around the Republicans.

Actually, give credit to the left wing media, who paper over the Democrat lies and maintain the progressive narrative.

Obama and the Democrats would quickly fall apart if the media suddenly became inquisitive, fair and factual.

You can’t change the rule that it takes 67 votes in the Senate to remove the bastard from office. That is all that could stop him, and you can’t get 67 votes to do it!

Sanctions against the lawyers could go beyond $ that taxpayers have to pay. The charge of misleading the court could bring disciplinary action against the individual attorneys, could lead to suspension or disbarment, and would stay on their record for as long as they remain active in the bar. No light thing. Obama, of course, would be unscathed personally.

I WANT TO READ THIS OVER AND OVER AGAIN: A federal judge threatened Thursday to sanction the Justice Department if he finds that government lawyers misled him about the rollout of President Obama’s plan to shield up to 5 million people from deportation. U.S. District Judge Andrew S. Hanen, visibly annoyed, confronted a U.S. deputy assistant attorney general over previous government assurances on the timing of the program.

====================================================================

Fox News reported 11/21/14: “During a 15-minute primetime speech in November 2014, Pres Obama said his administration will start accepting applications from illegal immigrants who seek the deferred actions.

Obama said, “Those who qualify will be granted protections for three years," as he laid out his sweeping plan to the public Thursday night from the East Room of the White House.”

Obama will start having information via application gathered on the illegals and this information can be used for the CARDS. Further, Obama is granting only THREE years of reprieve to the illegals.

(Is Obama going to order his Community Organizers a brief time to register illegals to vote, that they better be voting Democrat in 2016.....threatening that their legal status could be jeopardized in 2017.)

=================================================

HERE'S THE SCHEMING OBAMA PLAN IN DETAIL:

BACKSTORY In a major suck-up to illegals, Obama "announced" he was issuing
an E/O and planned a "signing ceremony" at a Las Vegas gathering of illegals.

E/O and signing ceremony never happened. Obama was photoed signing "memos" on AF One---not an "executive action." Why? B/c an E/O comes w/ legal baggage that the conniving Boobamba wanted to evade. Both "memos" are now on the Whitehouse website.

====================================================

The first of Obama's presidential action memos is entitled: “Creating Welcoming Communities Fully Integrating Immigrants and Refugees,” filed Nov. 26 in the Federal Register at Vol. 79, No. 228, (http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2014-11-26/html/2014-28191.htm).

In the category “Presidential Documents” at page 70769, Obama ordered a White House Task Force on New Americans to “engage with community, business, and faith leaders, as well as State and local elected officials.” The task force is designed to “help determine additional steps the Federal Government can take to ensure its programs and policies are serving diverse communities that include new Americans.”

The second of the presidential actions entitled, “Modernizing and Streamlining the U.S. Immigration Visa System for the 21st Century,” filed Nov. 26 in the Federal Register at Vol. 79, No. 228, in the category “Presidential Documents” at page 70765 (http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2014-11-26/html/2014-28191.htm).

This empowered the secretaries of State and Homeland Security, in consultation with the director of the Office of Management and Budget, the director of the National Economic Council, the assistant to the president for homeland security and counterterrorism, the director of the Domestic Policy Council, the director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy, the attorney general, and the secretaries of Agriculture, Commerce, Labor and Education.

The order was to make a series of recommendations “to reduce government costs, improve services for applicants, reduce burdens on employers, and combat waste, fraud, and abuse in the system” of issuing immigrant and non- immigrant visas.

====================================================

The scam works this way: signed Boobamba memos "delegate" to federal agencies orders to come up with plans (that must advance Boobamba's global conspiracy to overthrow the US govt w/ Third World federales and their cadres jumping the US border).

The federal agencies then "invent" Committees to do this (the better to overthrow the US govt). Then "Administrative Rules," after a comment period, will be published in the "Code of Federal Regulations," which magically turns them into law........ using federal fairy dust.

So Boobamba is shielded from responsibility---he doesn't have to take the hit. Behind closed doors, he tells federal factotums what he wants.....and faster than you can say "the combo plate w/ extra hot sauce".....the overthrow of the US govt commences.

=====================================================

THE "DELEGATION" HORROR STORY--A Federal agency MO since 1946. It's down to a science: (1) publish a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM), (2) make the comment period really short, (3) stonewall any negative comments, and, (4) publish the rule, which (5) NOW has the force of US law. No Congressman was ever involved, and Boobamba doesn't leave his DNA on it. Yet again, why "Delegation" is ominous for liberty---why the writing of administrative law by federal agencies - is un- Constitutional (hat tip to FReeper Regulator.)
