That’s what gets me. It’s been pretty obvious for nearly a year now that the hands up stuff was BS. The WaPo and the rest of the lib media ran cover for that bogus narrative the whole time, but now they want credit as some kind of truth teller. It was only after their beloved fedgov buckled under the weight of obvious fact and issued their report that the WaPo decided to acknowledge the truth.
Somebody ought to ask Rand Paul what he thinks of the report. Did any Freepers allow themselves to get brainwashed by this nonsense? If so, ban them.
“That narrative was called into question when a St. Louis County grand jury could not confirm those testimonies. And a recently released Department of Justice investigative report concluded the same.”
That’s quite the misleading understatement. Both the grand jury and the department of just-us concluded that “hands up, don’t shoot” just didn’t happen. Not “could not confirm,” but rather “was a lie.”
That have to make sure all the t-shirts are sold first.
It's the lesbian who carved hate messages into her own skin and blamed white conservative men. And the press that believed her.
It's students at Oberlin who saw KKK sheets - and blamed white conservative men - when it was done by liberal elite Oberlin students. And the press that believed them.
It was a feminist student leader who wrote ‘rape threats’ to herself and blamed white conservative men.... And the press that believed her.
It was the Boston Marathon Bombings where the first reports out were that it was ‘white men’ who did the bombing... and the press that believed they had found their white middle class middle aged ‘lone wolf’. And the press that believed them.
It was the Matthew Shepard death - done by one of Matthew Shepard's former male lovers - blamed on white conservative men - and the press that believed the lie.
It was ‘the vast right wing conspiracy’ saying Clinton lied - when in fact Clinton DID lie. But the press stood with the liar.
It was an innocent cop - Wilson - who was attempting to save his life while a thug was attempting to kill him... Wilson - a man who lost his job and any chance he had for a normal life because the press believed the villain. Beleived the thug because Wilson was a white conservative
There are hundreds of other examples, but I want to ask Michelle Ye Hee Lee how she would feel if every time the press jumped to the wrong conclusion - they assuming the villain was an ‘Asian man’ or a ‘gay man’... instead of a white conservative.
That said, thanks for the half hearted apology - it's more than we usually get. Oh - and can you write somethign about all the times the press jumped to the wrong conclusion and blamed a liberal elite? LOL - kidding - there aren't any examples like that...
And when the clock says about 5-10 minutes to the hour, you might as well turn it off or switch stations because the host won't start yakking again for 15-20 minutes.
Rush used to be the best about talking more than running ads, but in the last five years he's actually added more ads. I know when the breaks are, and I simply either switch stations or turn the radio off. Sorry Rush, too many ads.
I still like Rush, but at times he beats a topic to death. Now he’s on a Hillary Clinton kick at the expense of just about everything else. Even when he goes to another topic, he invariably goes back to hitting Hillary. Good grief Rush, give it a rest for a while.
