Spent most of the day writing up my material for Friday and Saturday. Two cello sonatas, a short sonata for piano 4-hands, and an art song.

I took the North County Transit District bus from the Oceanside transit terminal through Camp Pendleton to San Clemente. It was a beautiful trip and it was the first time I saw the interior of Camp Pendleton. I had lunch on Del Mar Avenune in San Clemente, a gorgeous place. It was great meeting all of the young grunts on the bus. You don’t need military ID to get onboard Pendleton if you are on the NCTD bus.

Since chamber Music was not a part of my musical upbringing, I am hearing a lot of it for the first time! :-)

You'll giggle insanely at the first two bars of the 4-hand sonata. Beethoven had no idea where that little motif would lead him.
