Would the re-imposition of colonial rule help Africa’s deterioration?

In all seriousness: Most countries in Africa and in the Middle East need at least another one thousand years of colonialism to become civilized.

But, who would do it? I think that Europeans (including America, Canada, Australia, etc) want nothing to do with them.

Perhaps China will become the colonial power in Africa. I don't think that will end well, however.

I have read that financially colonialism was a losing proposition even in the late 19th century.

or they’d lose our foreign aid. His foot has been on Kenya’s neck all this time.

...great point to remember. Plus they are orchestrating regime change by cutting off foreign aid and cheering on the opposition with our tax dollars. Bow to 0baMao or be replaced by a sharia supporting muslim extremist backed by the US regime. Bad for everyone in Kenya.

ymmv
