And .. with that tweeting, they have several accounts which makes it appear as though hundreds or thousands are making the same complaint.

Don’t fall for this GOP-e nonsense. Remember, the complete opposit about exec experience was being touted during the McCain campaign. In addition, Lincoln was not an executive, but Carter was! This point is irrelevant, the man’s value is what matters.
I ditched fox news in November 2012 and picked up TheBlaze as an alternative. Many folks here will express concerns with that network and that is fine, however what is relevant here is that they have Ted Cruz on very often. He “appears” on many of their radio programs and television programs. As a result, I have been hearing his message for a long time.
He is consistent, has principles and knows why he holds those values. He is a very deep thinker, a political philosophical expert on the founders and he has vetted his own positions by discussing issues rationally with opponents and by taking a “devils advocate” position in discussions with like minded folks. He has forced himself to debate the opposition’s position in order to ensure that he has a well thought out and reasoned position.
Ted Cruz is a man of honor that is well worth my support. I hope that you eventually come to the same conclusion.
With regards to his wife’s position, I am not concerned about that either, any more than I am in meeting anyone else that works for other employers. Remember, we have FReepers that belong to the UAW, are public school teachers and others that work in the federal government. Yes, we can generalize with broadbrushes about certain vocations and employers, however as classical conservatives, we must also acknowledgte that those brush strokes don’t cover every individual.
I say the same about his education. I despise UofM in general, but do have some friends that I respect that are UofM grads. In addition, I heard his “thesis advisor” professor being interviewed and that man was brilliant. He is also a conservative and had glowing reviews of Ted Cruz as a student. He had previously publically released Ted Cruz’s thesis, which was an exhaustive paper in support of the 10th ammendment. This is a far cry from other “harvard educated lawyers” that have written their thesis’ (thesi??) on Saul Alynski.
Again, all of your concerns are really tied to a man’s principles and values. I think that in time you will see that Ted Cruz’s are impeccible.
I suppose I am destined to live between the two extremes. A pox on both their houses, but...
I know where I stand. In neither extreme camp. I am a man of faith, but push me, and you will get merciless pushback in return, like you can only imagine. I will never accept your perversion and demands of respect.

I tend to think along the lines Cruz is.....stay focused on his campaign and what he wants to say along the way...which this far he’s been a master at doing......and have great comebacks if he chooses to respond regarding Obama and or Hillary.
Obama’s doesn’t what happens in his wake....he simply wants a legacy he can ride out on.
