Signing far-reaching executive orders seems to have become contagious in American government, at least among Democrats.
Gov. Jerry Brown went on national TV Sunday to explain his newly-announced mandatory water restrictions that will, among other things, require California residents to shower less. And if you've ever visited France, you know what that means.
Last week Brown, now in his fourth term as chief executive of the nation's most populous state, said California has not properly prepared for the kind of long-term drought it appears to face now. Brown, who turns 77 Tuesday, did not blame George W. Bush, but instead global warming.

"Through studies of tree rings, sediment and other natural evidence, researchers have documented multiple droughts in California that lasted 10 or 20 years in a row during the past 1,000 years -- compared to the mere three-year duration of the current dry spell. The two most severe megadroughts make the Dust Bowl of the 1930s look tame: a 240-year-long drought that started in 850 and, 50 years after the conclusion of that one, another that stretched at least 180 years."

Exactly. I refuse to conserve a danged drop of water as long as they’re encouraging and allowing illegals to come here. I hope all other Californians do the same. It’s time to take a stand and make a difference, and this is a perfect way.

They could do this fairly easily. So called ‘smart’ appliances are already becoming the norm. If these regulations go into effect, it could be mandated that everyone must have a ‘smart’ shower head. To activate it, one must have either their ‘smart phone’ nearby or a form of personalized identification that will activate the shower head and limit the amount of water that passes through it.
All Californians will now smell like hippies.

Enviros act like if you take shower the water completely evaporates and is gone from the planet forever. It’s not. If you’re on county sewage the water drains to a water treatment plant for recycling. If you have a septic system the water drains under ground and filters into the aquafer.
California is just restricting the freedom of Californians because thats what the left does. Liberty taken away one step at a time by wannabe tyrants. Start rounding up the shower thieves governor Moonbeam!

Ha. The City of Albuquerque Water Authority has for years pushed for saving water. Citizens did so beyond their wildest dreams. They saved so much water that the Water Authority is asking to jack rates to cover losses in revenue due to the increased water savings.
Once you get out of the cities, the rest of Michigan is more like Alabama.
What about the bathhouses? LOL!
Guarantee Hollywood Actors won’t shower less. They are important and will use the water that others have conserved to ensure their lives are not interrupted by this nuisance little water thingee.
