Guilt is all that's holding the 'slaves' in line, and that's not a viable long term proposition.
I have a friend whose 20 year old son lives at home. He’s been in and out of college, can’t decide what he wants to do, had a well-paying job with benefits that he quit.
His parents, conservative Christians both, still clean his room for him, and his mother brags to me that now they trust him being at home alone if they leave for the weekend.
I’ve stopped responding to this kind of thing from her because she doesn’t like my answers.

I can say, as for this:

I did not have a man-hating ball-busting mother. Nor an absent father. And I never heard how men were to blame for all the evils of the world.
They aren’t surprised here in NJ; the government is looking at revamping a lot of the laws to try to make it more attractive to men.
