FULL TITLE: 'Women on 20s' to Ask President Obama to Put One of These 4 Women on $20 Bill

A woman could soon be the new face of the U.S. $20 bill.

The nonprofit campaign "Women on 20s" allowed voters to choose three of 15 women candidates for the $20 bill, and now it's down to the "Final Four," and you can vote for the ultimate winner. The candidates are Eleanor Roosevelt, Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks and Wilma Mankiller.

can’t because her legend was disproven. She did sew flags, the design was not hers.

That looks good and is appropriate for the value of the modern money.

You're absolutely right. This is as bad as putting Martin Luther King among the Pre4sidents and soldiers memorials in DC. Disgusting.

Again...it's all about black...

And she’s still beautiful. I have a pic of her in my shop astride a Triumph Trophy I could look at for hours.

I’m gratified to see that none of the choices is Margaret Sanger, Founder of Planned Parenthood. I read something somewhere suggesting she was the choice.

Betsy Ross, Martha Washington or Susan B. Anthony come to my immediate mind as Women of Significance in US history.

Its hard to argue with Eleanor Roosevelt, Harriett Tubman or Rosa Parks either for that matter.

I’m 1/16th Cherokee, yet I have no idea who this Native American woman is. Never heard of her before.

Why not Reagan on the $20.00 bill?

He beat the Soviet Union and freed 500,000,000 million.

She has no American accomplishments. Liberals do not think in such terms. They think, “enough men, we need a woman”. Since we were a paternalistic nation through world war 2, the national contribution of great women pales in comparison to the great men. It is just how itbis in a paternal nation, which almost all nations are.

Liberals are all heart and no brain. That is why they are so dangerous in control.

Taking Andrew Jackson off the $20 would be a travesty. What’s next, replace Washington on the $1 bill with Al Sharpton?

Andrew Jackson like James K. Polk were the few Dems with balls are a big part of the reason why our country is as large as it currently is. Folks who want to get rid of Jackson have a poor understanding of the importance of him to our history.

Pocahontas
Alice Proctor
Abigail Adams
Mercy Otis Warren
Catherine Moore Barry
Sybil Ludington
Nancy Hart
Esther de Berdt Reed
Margaret Cochran Corbin
Molly Pitcher
Harriet Beecher Stowe
Sacagawea

Any of those would work for me.

I’m partial to the first two, because I know I’m a direct descendent of number two, and according to family tradition, officially unproven, the first.

I doubt anyone here has heard of Alice Proctor, but in the earliest days at Jamestown, in the absence of her husband, who was in England on business, for many days she and her household held off the March 1622 Powhatan Indian attacks that killed a third of the white Virginians in the colony.

When the British officers finally arrived they told her she had to leave her plantation and go back to Jamestown, which could be defended. She told them NO. Finally they forced her to go by threatening to burn the place to the ground.

“We’re from the government and we’re here to help.”

Bah.

The natives/terrorists would never go anywhere near where she lived ever after, by the way. The Proctor family always had a reputation of being “well-armed.”

“The face of money-tree climber, con-artist Hillary Clinton, holder of the record for being in the center of the most dirty, rotten scandals and fraudulent money scams in U.S. history.....belongs on counterfeit $2 bills.”

Good one.
