>>Remember when that was fascism..?
It still is. We just can’t call it that. Just like we can’t call the Communists who are ruining our country Communists anymore.
It sure is interesting to watch actions in this nation related to guns and ammunition, our Second Amendment rights.
Think of all the tactics the Left uses.
Imagine the Right using the same number of tactics to extinguish other rights.
The Left would have a hissy fit.
Its being pushed by stockholders and if they decide they don’t want to make money, its up to them.
I didn’t see that the church wanted to stop selling guns, from the article. In fact, I have no idea how the article title came up with that assessment. It’s like someone just made up a title put of nothing ... LOL ...
If Walmart succumbs to this, I’ll never set foot in their store again.
Which will be sad amd maybe good.
Out here in KahLee FawNeeYuh, the people aren’t ridiculously porcine.
When I stopped to get my Mom flowers in Owassa, Oklahoma a week ago the people coming out looked about haof dead akd had horrible skin.
The rest were so morbidly obese I lost my appetite and vowed to lose this 40#’s I packed on.
>>Discount retailer really isnt my #1 place for things that go boom anyway. Dont really want to find out the hard way why the prices are so low like has happened with so much other stuff from WalMart.
I wish more people were like you. More ammo for me.
The whole point of their ownership was to change culture. ..
Wal-Mart wants to appease the far far left, let them go bankrupt
If they do it would be a boon to mom-n-pops who would pick up the slack.
My local Wal Mart doesn’t sell guns and they never have any ammo in stock. So, nothing will change for me.
There’s another one of the reasons to not go there. Every gun store I’ve been in since this supposed ammo shortage began has had plenty of ammo. Only WalMart seems to be short. So it’s really more ammo for me as I can fill my trunk pretty much anywhere I go.
Rudyard Kipling
Dane-Geld
It is always a temptation to an armed and agile nation
To call upon a neighbour and to say: —
“We invaded you last night—we are quite prepared to fight,
Unless you pay us cash to go away.”
And that is called asking for Dane-geld,
And the people who ask it explain
That you’ve only to pay ‘em the Dane-geld
And then you’ll get rid of the Dane!
It is always a temptation for a rich and lazy nation,
To puff and look important and to say: —
“Though we know we should defeat you, we have not the time to meet you.
We will therefore pay you cash to go away.”
And that is called paying the Dane-geld;
But we’ve proved it again and again,
That if once you have paid him the Dane-geld
You never get rid of the Dane.
It is wrong to put temptation in the path of any nation,
For fear they should succumb and go astray;
So when you are requested to pay up or be molested,
You will find it better policy to say: —
“We never pay any-one Dane-geld,
No matter how trifling the cost;
For the end of that game is oppression and shame,
And the nation that pays it is lost!”
If WalMart does this I will never step in their store again. I spend several thousand dollars a year in Walmart.

You’re lucky. Here in Florida, the ammo shortage was very real. Its finally over, but it was a hard couple of years. Not just Wal-Mart. Even gun stores couldn’t get popular calibers for a while and what they could get sold at 4-5 times normal price.
“If said commie church dont like it, they should sell their stock and invest elsewhere.”
I own lots of different stocks. Almost all of them have a stockholder proposal on their ballots. They’re almost always along the lines of “proposal to ban the use of animal products in merchandise,” or “proposal to spend half the advertising budget to promote sustainable living,” or, “proposal to put gay and gender neutral bathrooms in stores.”
These organizations buy whatever the lower limit is on making stockholder proposals and then put one or more on every ballot.
When I studied Wal-Mart for my MBA they were being sued by somebody somewhere several times every day. They had the largest legal services budget of any company. They have a policy of going to court on every suit. They probably have suits scheduled for all of this century.
BBell, correct if I’m wrong, but Walmart buys it’s rifles and shot guns from arms distributors rather than bulk buys from mfrs. At least that was the case 14 yrs ago. I had a special order that they didn’t have on their stock list. The manager pulled out several binders that included several distributors. Found what I wanted, she gave me the price and after a deposit ordered the rifle. Had to wait about a week for delivery to the store.
So there aren’t any cheaper grade made for Walmart items.
Here in California they stopped selling guns a long time ago, and as for ammunition if they stop it's no loss because the shelves are damn near empty except for some 12ga. target loads. And don't even bother looking for .22 rimfire.
Going home isn't a big deal to them.
Wouldn’t be the first time that some whiners got Walmart to quit selling guns and ammo in certain municipalities.
Years ago, a whole lot of individual stores quit selling both/either...
Even my local Walmart, in a real conservative county and in the middle of big-time hunting country quit selling guns and ammo about ten years ago because of a few local people who merely threatened a protest.
They started selling Ammo* again about three years ago, but still no guns.
*(If you want 9mm, .40, .223, .270, .30-30 or .30-06 and 12Ga... That is pretty much all they even try to stock.)
their loss!
