I wouldn't have worn a military uniform to meet 0baa because then I might be required to salute.

'If I had known it was my Commander-in-Chief, I definitely would have been wearing my blues,' said the National Guardsman, referring his dress uniform.

Not I.

If t'were me, I'd show up in my boxers, unshaven, with my perpetually stained coffee mug, scratching my...self and hope like hell that the message of disrespect would be very evident.

I hate the SOB, so I'd probably even avoid going in the first place.

I truly do not have any desire to meet the piece of crap or even be in the same room with the traitorous heathen.

I've had the magnificent and incomparable honor to have met and shook the hand of Ronald Reagan.

Anyone else, particularly this bozo, pales considerably upon comparison.

Several years ago when my son was in the Army, he was a Medic Stationed at Fort Hood, he informed me that he would be having breakfast with President Bush in a few days. My son was always pulling jokes on me and I just thought it was another joke of his and ignored him as I did not want to be a victim of another of his pranks.

A few weeks later he sends me a picture of himself and other 4TH-ID soldiers posing with President Bush after Breakfast.

President Bush would frequently go to Fort Hood which is close to his home in Central Texas. He would go there to be with the troops. No press, no political statement and no agenda related to politics. He would go there to be with the men he sent into battle.

He was and is a good man. I did not agree with all his policies but there was never any doubt that he loved our great nation and would protect it, even though it meant the blood of our soldiers he loved dearly.

The next time he says he is going to have lunch with the President I will listen. He is now out of the Army and went to University. He is a BS Registered Nurse.

Of course it is not infinite. There is only so much fuel in the sun. Once that is used up, goodnight.

That’s what I was thinking. I wonder how often they trick people into meeting with him.

I would have worn a Molon Labe t-shirt if Barky showed up.
