Surveys find that men in U.S. special operations forces do not believe women can meet the physical and mental demands of their commando jobs, and they fear the Pentagon will lower standards to integrate women into their elite units, according to interviews and documents obtained by The Associated Press. Studies that surveyed personnel found "major misconceptions" within special operations about whether women should be brought into the male-only jobs. They also revealed concerns that department leaders would "capitulate to political pressure, allowing erosion of training standards," according to one document. Some of those concerns were not limited to men, researchers found, but also were found among women in special operations jobs. Dan Bland, force management director for U.S. Special Operations Command, told the AP that the survey results have "already driven us to do some different things in terms of educating the force."

I think the Marines just demonstrated that women aren’t cut out for intensive combat roles.
Women can indeed do special ops jobs.
But then you could hardly be calling them women at all.

Women may be able to perform certain aspects of special ops. What makes special ops what they are, is each can fill any number of roles and acquit themselves well.
Can they make sammiches?
Women don’t belong in combat. Women don’t belong on submarines with men. Woman don’t belong in special ops.
Liberals want to make the issue about equality. It isn’t about equality. Male and female were not intended to be equal and they aren’t.

The Layman's Answer that regular "UNINITIATED" people can understand is - The NFL, MLB, or MBA are all Team Sports - there are no women and there is no ban on Women, they are just not able to compete at the highest level. Special Operations warriors are the ultimate team players requiring a certain mindset, passion and physical capacities.
If women want to be channeled into something special, try the NSA or CIA where the physical demands and the skill set women posses (deception) can serve them well in stalking their prey.
Finally, in Special Ops not all men fit on every team and each one's psychological profile and/or skill set will determine who is matched up for missions. Not everyone is interchangeable even among the best of the best
Right. The guys who do the job now are suffering from "major misconceptions." I guess its because they didn't take the Feminist Studies courses in college that the media took.
All you have to do is see in the real world how many women are playing professional football, basketball and baseball that pays millions to individuals, for performance and see how many women make those teams. - Tom.

But the vaginocracy has determined that there will be women in Spec Ops. For now they will be content to wash out a few, and not change the standards. Then it will be the next “war on Women/glass ceiling to be broken the training standard will be reduced and voila! , we have women Marine Infantry officers etc.

Sorry to get off topic, but that headline sure had problems. At first glance, I thought it was 'US special ops 'forcing' skeptical women. Perhaps it should have read,"US Special OPS Forces DOUBT Women Can Do Their Jobs."
I know it's a small thing and I am putting on my flame retardant suit.
Simple solution is to make it an ALL female unit. Males rely on them only in the minimal way, if at all—firepower.
It is Marxist ideology-—radical egalitarianism. They need to control culture to condition the little children to “believe” that woman are exactly the same to destroy all Natural instincts and “normalcy” in little children.
Children need to “see” males and females being interchangeable-—to see women being in police jobs-—carrying the guns-—men training to kill women to destroy the nurturing and protecting instincts in the girls and boys respectively.
Worldview of individualism and Christianity has to be destroyed to destroy the emotional formation of little children—to make them emotional cripples (put them into institutions and destroy the Natural family——so they only have access to artificial worlds where Up is Down and (as Fichte stated in 1810), children will be made to believe “snow is black”-—so they will believe in the Big Lies of Marxism and be “happy slaves” of the State.
Individuality, Christian Ethics, and Autonomy are learned only within the Natural Family with loving role models of both sexes.
Like the harem boys of Afghanistan-—they will be irrational, herded animals even as adults. They are fixated in an immature, irrational age and will be incapable of ever being a normal independent human being.
