The sole purpose that a semantic exercise like this serves is to alienate. I doubt that this is your intent but the end result is just the same.
I believe that my right to self-defense - exercised through the ownership and use of guns - is God-given and recognition of that fact is recognized by the United States Constitution.
YMMV
Yes, there’s no question here, that you have that right under the U.S. Constitution, and I have always supported that. It is not a permanent right however, and it will be dispensed with in the one-world government of the Messiah of Israel.
My pointing out the distinction between the inerrant and infallible Word of God, which is permanent (God says his Word will last forever) ... versus ... the temporary nature of the U.S. Constitution (it will be gone in the future), in no way minimizes the value of the Second Amendment and the importance of it as a foundational part of the Bill of Rights, which we operate under right now. That understanding remains unchanged, and just as it always was from the Founding Fathers in the beginning.
The Kingdom of the Messiah of Israel is a totally different world on this earth and with the nations of the world ruled completely differently than they are now. There will be no U.S. Constitution at that time, no Bill of Roghts at that time, and no Second Amendmenr at that time ... BUT ... there will be the very same Word of God that you see right now!
That’s the difference between a human document and form of government ... versus ... the God-ordained one under the Messiah of Israel.
Understanding this difference is not semantic, but it will be VERY “REAL LIFE” and it will result in BILLIONS of people being killed on this earth in a short period of time, and then a brand-new form of government exercised over the entire world.
Four billion people killed in a few years (less than seven years) with all the governments of the world defeated and destroyed and a one-world government put into place over all those nations is NOT a “semantic” exercise!
