By the way, in my view Eisenhower gets a “pass” because of his executive experience as a general....he probably had more executive responsibility than many middle or small state governors.
Same reason I was attracted to Herman Cain in 2012. He had a good amount of experience running a business.
The author Paul Johnson, in his monumental history “Modern Times” has a good defense of the shortened Presidency of Warren Harding...even though the liberal revisionism has called him a failure.
Now Warren Harding was a Senator, true....but before that he was a successful businessman....a newspaper publisher, in fact. So he knew how to delegate and make decisions.

Walker & Rubio are the estabishment’s back-up if Jebster fails.
Well, it appears the most conservative governor is Scott Walker, having a clear record of accomplishment in Wisconsin.
But, everyone knows that Washington GOP wants Obamacare, more government, more low cost foreign labor.
So, the question is, if Scott Walker became President, would he agree with the GOP-e, compromise with it, or oppose it?
Why I’m for Cruz is - I don’t have to think twice about the answer to that question.
