Fleeing Hillary: Top Dem money man departs because Clinton hasn’t answered ethics questions
Washington Times ^ | 4-26-15 | By S.A. Miller

A top Democratic moneyman recruited by Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential campaign has put fundraising activities on hold, saying he can’t do it with a clear conscience because the former secretary of state has too many unanswered questions swirling around her.

New York businessman Jon Cooper, who Team Clinton enlisted for its elite corps of early fundraisers known as “HillStarters,” said that he decided not to tap his donor network for Mrs. Clinton because she hasn’t provided enough answers about foreign donations to the Clinton Foundation while she ran the State Department, her exclusive use of private email for official business as America’s top diplomat and her commitment to liberal priorities.

“I’m officially on the fence,” said Mr. Cooper, a bundler for President Obama’s campaigns who is active in Democratic politics in New York, which Mrs. Clinton represented in the U.S. Senate and where she has set up her campaign headquarters.

I bet she is gathering up all that cash as insurance just in case Soros decides not to kick in the "proper" amount.

You know, if she gets knocked off her horse, who will the libs have left? They have always counted on some sort of charismatic to sway the voters.

Carter did that in a very weak way by letting everyone think he was a born-again Christian.

Clinton did it by overpowering people with his sexual magnetism.

And Obama transfixed to public by his wordy hypnotism.

Then there is Hillary.

What the hell has she got which would give anyone a good reason to part with their money, let alone give her control of our entire country?

I happen to be fluent in Clintonese. Translation => 'I'm lawyering up right now!'

No one except diehard libbies like the homos, non-Messianic Jews, George Soros’s computer algorithms and her own family are going to vote for her

Since when did any Clintonist care about Clintonian ethics?

This is like the Chicago mob abandoning Capone because of lingering ethics questions.

These are people who have done just about anything and everything you can imagine, who have been in bed with just about anyone and everyone you can imagine. They have left a trail of dead people from here to the horizon and suddenly now this guy has questions?

No, somebody upstream has decided to cut them loose and this is just the means and the cover story.

Clinton is dead as a Presidential candidate.

Every big donor wants something from any politician they support, especially access .

The Clintons are going to be toxic on the payola for access issue going forward so there in no way to any return on investment for any potential backer.

There is only the pressure from existing donors who have already paid the Clintons for future favors and access wanting to get a return on their investment

If I were Hillary or Bill, I'd start flying commercial.

I would also refuse to pilot or fly in any small private aircraft the Clintons are traveling in.

She ignores an issue until she absolutely must answer. Then she’s incredulous at being questioned. Then phony smile. Then attack questioner.

It’s worked for decades.

What the hell has [Hillary] got which would give anyone a good reason to part with their money, let alone give her control of our entire country?

Easy. She's got Bill.

Hillary herself brings only one beneit to the table -- her gender. She can become the first woman president -- which, given her negatives, isn't as motivating as electing the first black president. But it's still a factor.

Otherwise, electing her is all about Bill. Democrats associate him with a strong economy and relative peace. Plus, great personal charm and effective frustration of Republican initiatives. They're counting on him to keep Hillary's administration on the tracks...and bring back the Roaring Nineties.

more importantly, how many friggin times was Burges Meredith on Twilight Zone. Doing a marathon and this is like the fourth time I’ve seen him.
Good one, where he’s a librarian in totalitarian state.

What the Republicnas need to do is hammer home this fact:

Clintons = Democrats...Democrats = Clintons

The Clintons need to be the albatross that destroys the Democrat party and all its evil.

not familiar with the term.
What I don’t get is, if she couldn’t beat a novice communist Kenyan senator, why did they think she could win now?

part of me wants her to get the nomination. Cruz has gone from 24 behind her to FIVE behind her. A VERY easy number to overcome once debates start.
tonto’s wife might get some spark like that Kenyan did.
I don’t know.
