These police need to be given enormous credit...having thugs knife your hoses, throw rocks and bottles at your trucks...and still get to the fire! I understand the police dept is now escorting all fire trucks

Stars from HBO's 'The Wire' plead for an end to Baltimore riots...The show was filmed almost entirely 'in Baltimore'. Pierce, who played detective Bunk Moreland; and Royo, who played a junkie named Bubbles, both took to Twitter to vent their sadness and outrage over the looting and destruction.

....Maryland Transit Administration says it’s bypassing several subway stations and ‘closing at least one bus station’ because of police activity in areas of Baltimore. Public schools in the city are closed for the day,....

... several neighboring districts said they would cancel any scheduled field trips to Baltimore.

That’s a sad picture. That needs to be sent to the Mayor, so she can see what she did by “giving them a space to destroy.”

Robbing and setting fires....these kids 'all' need to be on the streets cleaning up today...if 'all' the kids were helping with cleanup THEN they might understand some degree of pride

They're cleaning up...but all the photos so far show just 'adults working'....am beginning thinking this might be a big part of the problem...the parents/adults always picking up after the kids when every kid is off school today...the streets should be full of them cleaning this mess up!
