Levin Destroys Republicans: ‘Lying, No Good for Nothing, Preposterous and Pathetic!’
PJ Media ^ | 04-30-2015 | Michael van der Galien

Mark truly blasted, if not utterly destroyed, Republican leaders in the U.S. Senate for opposing amendments to the now notorious Iran bill.

The first amendment literally says this:

"To require a certification that Iran has not directly supported or carried out an act of terrorism against the United States or a United States person anywhere in the world."

You’d think that’s a rather low threshold to hold a country to, but for Republican leaders it's “a bridge too far.”

“We have eight Republicans who voted ‘no’ on this amendment. Lamar Alexander of Tennessee. Just got reelected. Had gone back to Tennessee promising Tea Party groups he’s a real conservative… He’s a lying, no good for nothing. Dan Coats of Indiana who has announced he’s not running for reelection. So this man feels he’s as free to be as irresponsible as he chooses. The preposterous, pathetic egomaniac Corker, of Tennessee… The absolutely absurd Jeff Flake of Arizona. Lindsey Graham, who has the nerve to attack Rand Paul – he has the nerve to attack Rand Paul on foreign policy, when Lindsey Graham is helping to lead the way against this amendment! Orrin Hatch, an absolute unmitigated fraud. John McCain, who is up for reelection Arizona! – but you have an open primary system and he’s relying on non-conservatives and non-Republicans to get him the nomination the way Lindsey Graham did in South Carolina. And Senator Perdue from Georgia; I don’t get it, hopefully he’ll put out a statement and explain himself.”

Being “the good little communists they are,” Democrats will vote for whatever bill President Obama wants them to support, but what about these eight Republican sellouts? They’re supposed to be conservative, to stand up for the Constitution and America’s national security. What excuse do they have? None. They have nothing.

Open primaries are such a fraud? Couldn’t we have that changed in those states? Why do we want Democrats voting within Republican primaries for heaven’s sake?

And unless we get a new Republican Party, it’ll continue to be.

Not gonna happen.

because most of us won’t be getting off the couch next November.

I'll be getting off the couch, alright. To vote 3rd party. Piss on the GOP. I didn't leave them. They left me. Over and over again. At some point, you gotta stop letting them abuse you. Those that continue to insist on voting GOP, because somehow the GOP is "better" than the rest - they are the TRUE problem.

With all due respect to Mr. Levin, I wonder how anyone *could* prove that Iran had never “directly supported or carried out an act of terrorism against the United States or a United States person anywhere in the world.”

I have no idea how to prove a negative, if anyone does please enlighten me.

Not that I like those rat bastards one bit, but am curious as to the logic behind this amendment if it is anything other than designed to torpedo the ‘treaty’.

it’s all bloviating.

FIRST and foremost, all radio talkshow hosts are entertainers. They may express political views, etc., but if you listen to them long enough and close enough, you will hear them giving alternate views from time to time.

SECOND, talkshow hosts are in the business to make money -- selling products through ads and writing books.

Keep those two items in mind and you will need fewer Rolaids tablets.

Levin is still trying to work through the judicial system too; he’s not just relying on his books and radio show. Perhaps it is a vain act in order to show up the futility of same, but the more eyes it opens, the better.

Are you looking for a military leader instead? or a true statesman? I would say that Levin has too many health problems to fill either role.

"And unless we get a new Republican Party, it’ll continue to be. "

No, if we get another Republican Party, we will repeat the same problems. The only way to fix this abortion is to destroy this Republican Party, and BUILD a Conservative Party from the ground up. We will have to elect Ted Cruz as the last candidate called Republican, and then retire the name Republican. Excise the Republican cancer.

Levin will always be “an inch away” from leaving. He just likes the opportunity to holler, which has become tiresome.

Corrupt Democrats are more liberal, blatant and daring in their attempts to corrupt and that’s probably why they get caught as often as they do. Republicans however, may be a bit more conservative or risk-averse in theirs. It’s just a theory...

I’m afraid that’s what it’s gonna take....a near-death experience with a REAL unabashed Socialist government...to get the C of C to stop defecating all over us.

And therein lies the problem: Who is anywhere on the horizon or the radar that might step into such a role?

The Cruz fanboys say him. The Walker fanboys say it's him. The Paultards say it's one or the other of them.

I want the popcorn concession for the next few months...

If conservatives ever flee from the Republican Party, it will fold. Look for many of the GOPelites to show their true colors and join the Democratic Party, rather than follow conservatives.

Across the aisle, the Democratic Party has a similar problem. The so-called Reagan or Blue Dog Democrats have no love for the way their party moved to the left. They, like the Republican conservatives, still vote Party.

==

If the Blue Dogs and Republican conservatives ever got together, they could outnumber the progressive wings of both the GOP and Democratic parties.

This is why I favor a secret ballot in Congress. The same reasons why open ballots are bad for unions and the general public are reasons why open ballots are bad for congress.

Instead of casting votes to appease Donors, Extortionists, Party leaders and the Media, what if they only had their conscience to answer to after a vote?

This is why secret ballots in congress should be a plank in the Liberty Agenda platform.

Here is my non-partisan "Liberty Agenda"...

Ending the open ballot in congress

Limits to the ratio of congressperson to constituent. When the constitution was written, every congressman represented 35,000 people. Now, every congressman represents 1,000,000 people.

Term Limits This is a no-brainer.

End gerrymandering Use computer modeling to carve states into congressional districts with the smallest ratio of area to perimeter. There is an objectively right answer to this problem that couldn't be reached in the 1700's but in the 2010's with supercomputers (probably just any desktop) the answer could be reached in minutes.

If we enacted these 4 governance related changes, we could then address the various policy changes that we would like to enact. We could then revert America from the oligarchy controlled, banana republic it has become to the Constitutional Republic it was intended to be.

We could then revert America from the oligarchy controlled, banana republic it has become to the Constitutional Republic it was intended to be.

The problem is, the "we" is a couple hundred thousand liberty-minded citizens - everybody else seems to like the ongoing scam the way it is, because they think they can ultimately get something free out of it.

The constituency for reversion to republican principles is now vanishingly small.
