A bartender and model is broadening her lawsuit against San Francisco transit police to include an Oakland cop after she says they used excessive force while booking her on St. Patrick’s Day last year and caused her to break at least four bones in her face. Megan Sheehan acknowledges she was intoxicated and belligerent when she was apprehended at a Bay Area Rapid Transit station, but says officers left her with permanent physical damage after taking her to the nearby jail to charge her...The suit says that she spent two days being treated in a nearby hospital and never faced criminal charges.

Just when I was all in for the cops (Ferguson, Baltimore)...but now this? I dunno.
All of these stories are intended to try and get the people stirred up enough to demand the Federal Government have direct control over Local and State law enforcement. If that comes about America will become a tyrannical police state.
Natpo’s (national police) or SS types - scares me more than out of control local cops.
And yes I have been on receiving end of bad cop behaviour.

What that cop did in reality should be a felony for intentionally committing a violent act in front of a minor child. There was a grassy area right behind the officer which would have been far more suitable for a take-down. This is not how cops should be allowed to behave.

i am always reminded of that video of the famous communist guy who ran to the west, i think it was the 1980’s. he did a whole series of videos on how the communists planned to deconstruct the west, from movies degrading the military, to degrading the family, religion, teachers, universities etc.
the goal of all of this was to encourage the rise of a central authority that would ‘sort it out’, just not the way you thought of course.
one of his comments was the 25 year plan they had to break down law and order by convincing people that all the police were corrupt and should not be trusted. he believed, if i recall, that this was a key step.

I don't think it's some mysogynist thing, but (perhaps subliminal) a desire to touch female.
IF I'm anywhere near correct and you couple that with the police training to react immediately (and in their defense, police are trained to deal with men more than women, killers and such more than drunks) ... it's not surprizing someone gets hurt

In complete agreement with your concern and suspicion of Article V Convention push by interesting bedfellows and timing.

Government overall is the nation’s largest employer.
Being drunk and belligerent in public might lead to a negative outcome? Who knew? In some better time, belligerent drunks didn’t have a platform to bother us with their shamelessness.
This a disturbing video but it is also a chance to see what happens when dealing with a drunk. Excessive force? Could have been handled different. Do we need to have a DOJ run police force? No! These things happen. The left is always looking at ways to dismantle our police force. Like the lyrics of the Rolling Stones, cops are criminals and all criminals saints.
Let’s see - four trained men, each 50% to 100% heavier than one woman, two of them already in control of her arms. And those two men throw her face first into a concrete floor, with no way to protect her fall.
Because there was no other way to make sure they got home safe to their wives and daughters.
