Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush declared Wednesday that 11 million immigrants in the country illegally should have an opportunity to stay, wading yet again into his party's contentious immigrant debate.

In tone and substance, Bush stands out among the many Republicans lining up for the GOP's next presidential primary, where conservatives who oppose an immigration overhaul often hold outsized influence. As he moves toward a presidential campaign, the brother and son of former presidents has not backed away from his defense of immigrants in the country illegally and a policy that would allow them to attain legal status under certain conditions.

Jeb Bush is a traitor, he should be tried for treason and executed if found guilty which shouldn't be too hard considering how many times he opens his mouth. Any foreigner who comes to the USA with the full intent to break its laws first and foremost is an enemy of the USA in every sense and definition of the word and any US citizen that supports that is guilty of treason. The code is quite clear:

18 U.S. Code § 2381 - Treason

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

If we still followed laws in this country, this would be Jebs last and final memory...

Why not, that’s only the equivalent of 11 major cities of 1 million each consisting of nothing but illegals.

But Bush is not telling the truth.

It’s more like 25 major cities.

Then throw in about 1 million more each year government is waving in legally each year.

You always misrepresent the views of “hold your nose to vote” FReepers. I’m one of those. To be clear, Jeb Bush must be destroyed in the primaries. Why? So we aren’t faced (again) with the dilemma of two bad candidates from the main parties, one of which is near certain to win.

I’d rather not even discuss such a losing proposition like that at the moment, as defeating Bush in the primaries is priority now. However, you just can’t stop bashing other FReepers who don’t believe exactly as you.

He's not stupid. He and his elite friends know as gov floods the country with million upon millions of illegals and legals, eventually Americans will be beating on each other for a few 9 dollar an hour jobs...Fat corps and big biz bankroll their campaigns to make sure the low wage masses keep flowing in through open borders and outdated destructive liberal immigration policies.

Plus for every higher paid American out of work and paying little taxes, they're being replaced by 4 low wage tax contributing consumers who buy stuff like pampers and Budweiser.

It's rotten vicious circle. Profits regardless of consequences.
